As of December 2021 this mod is not updated or working. It's a shame, the OST is getting rather bland

Anyone wanting an update for this mod will need the source files (the audio files) that make up this mod, which are easy to get a hold of. You will need to go to totalwarcenter and go to forums to find someone / learn to make a music mod and use those files to make it.

On the same site you find Roma Surrectum II as a Total War: Rome mod. you will neeed to get the audio files from there (either by asking or downloading and installing the mod into a blank folder, then looking in said folder for the audio files).
I would do this myself however I lack the time to actually do it.

Certainly a shame, but I don't fault someone for life getting busy. I do hope one day there's a chance to use this mod again, otherwise until then I'll play the songs off of youtube with the game running. Almost as good ;)

Since he wont, or hasnt been able to, can anyone try to get permission to do it instead? I sure alot of modders in the community that would be able to do it if only asked. I loved this music mod, as it has a ton of tracks from the RS II mod from total war rome 1 (which are my FAVORITE)

I hate to break it to you guys but Authentic Ancient World project has been dead for a while now that's why the fast track switching problem in the mod was never fixed and that's why this mod wont be updated.

This mod has probably the best mixture or immersive culturally themed music the workshop has to offer for Rome 2. Sadly the tracks skip every 5 seconds or so. I was so excited to hear the old Europa Barbarorum music until it skipped, and skipped and skipped and skipped.

It is unfortunate for me to say this but stay away from this mod. The author it seems has moved on
