Additionally, I keep a full offline version for my own use that combines all the mods which are included. It helps with load times and is a base record I can use for compatching.
Which mod are you looking to combine in?
Specifically wondering about these Dynamic Holy Sites https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2837748572
I will always recommend MPE above MB+ unless you prefer historical fidelity and later start dates. Pretty much every MB+ functionality is included. Also, I recommend using HRT instead of the DLC. The DLC added very little and messes with the functionality of many major mods.
Super Compatch:
-Updated to version 1.17.1
-New Feature:
"Blackmail and Expose Secret Limitations"
Now, characters will not be able to blackmail or expose secrets unless they have a good enough standing compared to their target. This is based on prestige, title, claims, position and traits. As this used a very similar scaling to game mechanics those most affected will be the very low and high end of society.
This is a new feature and is light weight. Feedback would be appreciated!
-Various Updates and Tweaks
*If you have the Coronations DLC you have the choice of either turning off the DLC or the HRT mod.
*A few tab localization issues have popped up. I will try and fix these as I can.
Also, thank you for continuing your work on this. This has become a staple compatch/collection since I started using it. I just still can't decide if I like MPE or MB+ better. *sigh* Love the amount of additional Provinces, but the MB+ way gives access to Asia which is pretty amazing.
With this update I'm going to recommend either turning off the Coronations DLC OR turning off the HRT mod as they cover the same thing. It would really be your choice as to how you want to play.
I pretty much have everything done but I've been wanting to implement a blackmail restriction (with game rule) that takes into account prestige, rank, claims, position and some traits to determine whether somebody can be blackmailed. Additionally, for Early Bookmarks I've added some new "historical" flavor for Iceland.
@SgtPeppersSoul I can do that
1. Mount Athos, I think from medieval arts and others, currently only functions if you are specifically Greek Orthodox. If possible, could that be expanded to include the entire Orthodox communion from the denominations mod (or all Christians otherwise)? I haven't noticed any other buildings like this, but there might be others
2. In the base game, Crossbowmen are given the horse archer counter and are, as far as I am aware, the only units in the game that can counter horse archers. This is seemingly not present on the Genoese crossbowmen (I can't recall if these are base game or not), nor on the Ravenna Ballisrarii added by the Roman flavour mod. Would it be possible to add this to bring them up to parity?
I think I've finally got the local mods working. I forgot to mention that I still have the mods folder on another hard drive and am working with a hard link. I definitely deserve Witchcraft as a character attribute for that. It certainly doesn't provide any additional stability on startup. But the mods are now loading and everything looks good ingame. I haven't had any crashes ingame yet.
Also, huge thanks for all the mods you’ve made and everything you’ve done for the CK3 community. I’ve been using your stuff for a long time, and after taking a year long break, I’m really looking forward to jumping back in and experiencing the game with all the great stuff you’ve added.
