You may have misunderstood!
Armor can only reduce the damage of non-armor piercing kills, this game is divided into basic damage and armor piercing damage!
(English)
But I haven't had time to fix it recently, I'm currently working on Dwarf-related mods in Warhammer 3; This was followed by Ogres and the Chaos Warriors of Warhammer 3 and the Noska Beast Men

If you want me to cut revenues, I can. I can reduce the maintenance cost if I want, but I really want to make melee troops without powerful range have a certain means of immunity to basic lethality!
But still a great mod, had fun with it for a bit

My mods are designed to satisfy OCD and make the game better for novice players, not to increase the difficulty to satisfy some players' masochistic tendencies :)

Perhaps you don't know that when your troop armor exceeds 200, all your non-armor-piercing damage (base damage) is forcibly reduced to 1; (Whether it's 1,000 or 10,000).
(When armor is greater than 100, there is a 75% chance that armor can reduce base damage to 1);
(The effect is halved when armor is greater than 100, which means that 150 armor has a 100% chance of being reduced to 1, but 150 is not safe because some spells can lower your armor!)
