Are you on a server? Currently some things might not be supported in singleplayer mode.

does the game not work anymore because for me whenever i play it on updated view models it crashes, if i play it on other things it doesn't, but nothing works no building, no ui, and there's like 2 aliens that js stand still and do nothing? is this like discontinued or smt or is it js a bug

Its not working for me. I spawn in and my squad wont go anywhere and nothing happens and then i walk around and i see two of the aliens not moving or interacting in anyway. I shoot them, they die, they dont respawn. And thats pretty much the extent of my experience with this mod. Any suggestions?

To bad that stuff like this is set in stone, can't really be fine tuned to be fun.
I assume making maps for custom gamemodes like this same story, we can't cause we dont have access to the sdk project of troopers, right?

There are currently no balance options to adjust. These options are instead dynamically calculated based on active players.

I managed to get the mod to appear by doing the automatic install but in singleplayer the bugs don't appear ._.

Play on the empty server. That's your singleplayer. Mod is optimized heavily for multiplayer, reworking every system to make it function in offline play is more than double the work, not to mention reworking gamemodes and balancing everything to fit one player.
