Also with some cheats I was able to make it do 1728 dmg and had it roll 30-33s. I think I counted 49 rolls in there or smth?
Still a good work though.
The added resources might be a tad much since this Roland can just take off running. It gets even worse after slapping gloria and/or esther's passive on him.
All in All, a good interpretation of our favorite Black Clad Servant. Not my first choice though since I can work some very funny combos to the point it flattens all but the toughest of modded receptions but highly enjoyable.
Cancelling opponent's dice instead of relying on clash win is welcome (especially in some modded cases) and due to Durendal's effects, even Furioso without those effects works like a well-oiled machine. The dice reroll makes it worthwhile to use whether you have high strength stacks or all nine cards used.
"It took way too much setup for so little payoff"
So is basegame Furioso
"Roll too low to be used for clashing below 9 cards"
...You know that most enemy dice roll dont tend to go that high...right? It isn't like I intend for it to be absolute broken either.
"Smoke and Mark bonus damage tho"
....You guys literally raised Furioso as script skip for Final Impromptu so how does it taking damage bonus effect help you
I mean yes under those circumstances this ver of Furioso would do less damage than the basegame unless against resistance like ineffective and above or maybe endured (probably not) but under normal circumstances and enemy they'd all be dead for more damage to be helpful
+ It deals more damage against Endured+ resists
+ Can be used significantly more often, albeit with weaker effects
+ Better debuffs, and gives Strength
- The loss of the huge die makes it significantly worse in fending off Mass Attacks (especially big single-hit Individuals)
- Deals significantly less damage against Weak/Fatal resists, i.e. staggered enemies
- No longer inflicts Fragile, something that I really like about the original since it lets you go to town much more easily on the targeted enemy the next Scene
