@DæmonMax | Felippe If your vehicle is hotwired, first you'll need to unhotwire them. Then you will craft the blank key. With the blank key, inside the car the option to create a vehicle key will appear.

Once inside a vehicle what do i have to do or presso to get the blank to become the car key?

would this work for house keys too? if not can that be an option as i think itd be great for multiplayer or for modpacks with bandits in them

Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but I sit in a car with the key blank and two jeweled rings, and I can't figure out how to make the car key. I've tried in the crafting menu, and by right-clicking on the blank, but I'm not seeing the option anywhere. Is it in the vehicle radial menu?

@Ponklo I don't mind. Actualy I'm greatfull that you did. If you wanna make your version of the mod, feel free to do so. I don't play this game anymore and I don't think that I'll modified this mod for a while.

Hi, If the owner is reading this, i found the problem to the disappearing of the materials and keys, i check your script and found that you don't have put two material requirement in the recipe, you can remove the second one and add at the end of the rings/earrings/etc. =2, . I tested it and it works, hope you can you can fix this!

if you have time you could try using the "Error Magnifier" mod to see whats causing the material and keys to disappear. Its' a great mod but having to un-sub and re-add all the time can get annoying sometimes, and the craft all work around sometimes doesn't work for me.

There is a issue for when you try to craft a key blank it says error in the bottom and takes the mats. the way to stop it from doing that is pressing craft all

If the mod stops working, try taking it off your server, unsubscribing and then resubscribing & reapplying it. That usually fixes it for me

@VivaLaze You can remove the mod, it won't break your game or delete your key. It's safe

When i create the key i want for my desired vehicle, is it safe to remove the mod afterwards? Also, will it break my game if i remove the mod after creating said key in a *pre-existing* save?

Edit to my last comment! The mod works, just not in the quick-select menu! The key blanks do generate when in the full crafting UI but not in the V-hotbar. Not sure if that helps, but it does make a bit of sense

Yeah, very strange. I'm having the same issue. It allows me to craft a key blank and the recipe is perfectly fine, but after crafting an error pops up in the corner and no blank is added to inventory. It simply consumes the item and doesn't allow you to use it. Is there a dependency that I'm missing?

having the same issue, the craft completes, and it consumes the mats, but no key blank is generated

@SM645 I don't know why, but if you cancel key creation, you will lose your Key Blank.

My key keep disappearing after I craft one. Could you explain why it happens?

Great mod, thanks! The default skill requirements are pretty well balanced in my opinion and the mod pairs extremely well with Hotwire Nerf Mod as one gives you a valid reason (hotwired car engine stalls sometimes) and another gives a proper way for actually creating a key instead of hotwiring.
