I have some worrying news. It seems that either Steam or something in the game will no longer allow me to update the mod. I am currently looking for some way to hopefully fix this issue, but so far the only info I've got is that other modders that have had this problem, had to reupload their mods. I really don't wanna have to do that, as I'd lose all the comments, changenotes, etc.

In the meantime I will be posting my mod updates in the Rain World discord under modding releases, so if you still wanna keep up to date, you can download the newest version there.

this is a great mod and i use it along with my 50 other ones and this one is by far one of the best! my suggestion for a feature is sort of like the slugsomnia but it adds a day night cycle where it just gets darker or brighter. or a option to remove rain but that seems more like a change than a tweak

is this mod incompatible with simplified moveset? i cant have both without my pickup button turning into a backflip button. tried turning off all emerald tweaks but leaving the mod itself on and it still happened

I ran some tests with my basic mod list (nothing too crazy and no custom arenas, regions, creatures, or extra functionalities to items) and it works just fine now, if not better than it used to. btw I'm definitely going to get a lot of use out of the new rot repellent feature, especially when I go through unfortunate development with Rivulet when I do that run. thx and I appreciate the suggestion for the potential fix, I'll definitely keep that in mind just in case.

Just in case you can also delete the mod's config file in your savedata folder, since that would persist between reinstalls and may have gotten corrupted somehow. Doing this will reset the config so you'll have to reenable/disable everything.

I'm doing some testing to see if the mod is the issue or if it's a different mod or maybe even my laptop being dumb and automatically messing with files it really shouldn't be messing with, but if it is a problem with my laptop I'll have to relegate all Steam gaming to my monitor setup from now on.

Hmm the version I'm using rn works fine. I'll update the mod to the version I'm using and if it still doesn't work then it isn't my fault.

I can't use the config either and the mod seems to be yeeting an important file required for Rain World to properly load player and creature sprites as I've validated my files twice now after activating the mod and 1 important file failed to validate both times. I thought my laptop was just yeeting the files to begin with, but now I know it's something to do with the mod or something to that effect.

I can't use config, when I try to click on the mod to configure it I get the "this mod has no config" message

Currently my only complaint with this mod is that when the unlimited passages is enabled, and you already used up your passage you can't passage. Other than that 10/10

I don't see why it would be. Graphics fix literally turns off all graphic related things so it can't be an issue with my mod unless they are doing weird things. I'll take a look at their mod and see what they are doing.

Have you tried the Slugsomnia feature? It can make the game a bit harder than normal by adding additional spawns and making it hard to see where you are going.

these arent tweaks, these are just buffs. Theres not a single thing here to make the game more interesting.

@stick In the remix menu click on the mod. Then click the 'Fixes' tab. If it isn't there you may have an earlier version of the mod, and should try resubscribing.

Saint abilitiy is a spoiler. But to use his ability, rather, tongue ability, double tap jump (Z on keyboard), but as for his skill... I don't remember if it's the same as Artificer. Look through the Wiki

@Hyro also if you have slug charisma enabled then you will also be passively gaining rep with lizards, which if you aren't killing them all the time will eventually make a lot of them neutral to you

Seems there is some minor issues with the AI, as well with conflicts with Rotund Mod
Rotund only has some issues with visuals by making the critters/mobs more round as they progressively feed, hopefully that's no major issue!

although, it is noticeable that most of the AI feels more dumb, it could be the game's AI as the new areas accessed by different slugcats have yet to be mapped, so far, I've enjoyed the mod so far, makes up the difference!

Note that the special spears use the hunter spawn rate as base, which is like a 0.5% chance per spear, and also electric spears spawn uncharged, making them basically impossible to distinguish until picked up

Special Spears works as intended as far as I can tell. It doesn't make them super common and has no effect on normal spear spawning (I didn't even touch that function). As for the camera, that also works fine for me so I don't know why you're having trouble there.

I also have not found any spears upon enabling special spear spawns, infact upon disabling it. i found more regular spears so it just seems like it decreases the natural spawn rate of spears.

Also I think I'm having a compatibility issue with this mod and jolly coop where it breaks part of the camera cycle feature. specifically the setting where the player can douple tap the map button to switch the camera to the other player. Even with the setting turned on double tapping map doesnt send it to the other player. It still works for if you want to send the map to yourself, just not the other player. The feature started working as intended again upon disabling this mod though.

Could you slightly increase the spawn rate of electric spears and explosive spears? In 30 cycles I only found 3 naturally spawning explosive spears and no electrics, on Survivor.

I wonder if the code that changes objects being transfered via passage warp could somehow be circumvented to warp any slug pup associated with the player character (via mother relationship?) to place of hibernation. Within Remix code, there is an option to have not just the stuff in your belly, but also all of the things within a hibernation chamber, transfered upon a passage use,

About the whole button/backflip thingy, recently was struggling with a grappling worm and ... well... is there a way to have placing down an object be applied to a separate button configuration? so instead of it being pressing and holding "down + grab" it could just be assigned to a different control scheme? or are the basic controls something very hardwired and non negotiable without hard code editing? I would love to have placing down, even eating set to a separate button/key. There are 4 or 5 buttons unused on a controller, and 100 something unused keys on a keyboard.

Hey Em sorry to bother you again, question about double breath.
Does that just multiply whatever the scugs breath time is by two? or does it increase the breath time by a flat number? I think I remember a comment saying it just multiplies it by 2

Basically just asking because I was wondering if arti can actually swim with this enabled, it would be sick to be able to explore Undersea as her when it gets ported, and murder that entire underground city of scavs. But we're months out from it being ported so I would not worry about it any time soon.

(ps, who else absolutely cannot wait for some of these modded regions to come back? My favs are The Mast, Coral Caves, Hanging Gardens and Lush Mire. Really excited for the scav heavy regions to come back as arti. I wonder if Aether Ridge is abandoned or if we'll see the regions that were supposed to connect to it get released when its ported)
