Yes, it is still being updated
Daganhatch Oct 14 @ 4:53pm
Is this still being updated?
deleteduser0  [author] Sep 26 @ 2:01am
Only the province names, but they also change when any certain country conquers one or more provinces, mostly depending on their primary culture.
Endovelicus Sep 25 @ 7:10pm
Its just the names of the provinces or the name of the countries get localized to their language too?
deleteduser0  [author] Sep 5 @ 3:31am
It's possible that the files for this mod might be overwriting the ET files about the culture. As always, you can subscribe to our mod that only covers vanilla cultures, which you can find in the description above this comment section.
Morgan-Giggs Sep 4 @ 1:28pm
(Also the American subcultures I.E Dixie & Western American, I'm sure there's more missing but those are the ones I remembered to mention)
Morgan-Giggs Sep 4 @ 1:27pm
Well the strange thing is that it currently causes a handful of cultures to just downright disappear (Kashubia in Poland & Tuva in Russia for example) I don't mind the odd missing localisation as I'll just manually change it myself and just accept that my work is a quarter of good as this mod :secretweapon_hoi: but I just thought it was weird that it was actively removing cultures from the game. I'm not expecting a fix and it's fine as is but just thought I'd notify as others will certainly be giving it a shot as I did.
deleteduser0  [author] Sep 4 @ 12:56pm
Not all the names nor cultures are supported because the province IDs in both vanilla and ET are sometimes different, not to also mention that some of the cultures that were added in ET are not present in this mod, and vice-versa.
McAlkis  [author] Sep 4 @ 12:55pm
Unfortunately, not really. Any mod that adds new provinces to the map will not have those provinces covered by this mod. However, for Extended Timeline specifically, provinces that also exist in vanilla will have their names working. So if you are willing to settle for an incomplete coverage of the map it shouldn't be a problem.
Morgan-Giggs Sep 4 @ 11:40am
It's probably a dumb question but I wanted to check, is there any method I can use to make this work with Extended Timelines? I love this mod too much to not ask :crusader_helmet:
McAlkis  [author] Sep 3 @ 3:56am
If you want the names the mod offers without having conflict with other mods, we have a version of the mod that doesn't add any new cultures. You can find it in the description.
Okay, cool. Trying to figure out if that's a beyond typus issue, and if so, what mod of mine adds the beyond typus map despite the fact I don't have it installed
deleteduser0  [author] Sep 2 @ 4:46pm
Mods that alter the in-game culture files are 99% likely to be incompatible with this mod
Is there any way to tell what mods would be incompatible with the new cultures?
Thanks!
deleteduser0  [author] Sep 2 @ 3:26am
You'll find it in the description above the comment section.
deleteduser0  [author] Sep 2 @ 3:25am
We've got a submod that disables non-vanilla cultures from the game, which should help with any bugs.
McAlkis  [author] Sep 2 @ 2:25am
Which is why we have a version of the mod without additional cultures in the description.
Why this mod adds a new culture? It seems incompatible with most of culture mods I tried to play with
McAlkis  [author] Aug 24 @ 1:15pm
We got as many as we could from wikipedia. The rest were either created etymologically or adapted phonetically.
Owl Aug 24 @ 12:24pm
How did you guys do Scottish names? A Translator or some Methods?
McAlkis  [author] Aug 23 @ 3:55am
If you are referring to the mod made by Danarca and News12, it has already been absorbed into this mod, with permission. So you already have all the names of that mod, except some that have been remade by hand by native speakers.
EBOU Aug 23 @ 3:03am
How would I go about making this compatible with New World Colony Names Fan Fork? Just for personal use.
manuelruipenedo Aug 17 @ 4:22pm
ths
deleteduser0  [author] Aug 16 @ 4:41pm
No, it isn't fully compatible
manuelruipenedo Aug 16 @ 4:10pm
if its compatible with extened timeline
deleteduser0  [author] Aug 16 @ 1:09pm
What do you mean?
manuelruipenedo Aug 16 @ 1:02pm
et compatibilty?
deleteduser0  [author] Jul 29 @ 11:39am
Let me know if that fixes this bug
deleteduser0  [author] Jul 29 @ 11:38am
This may possibly be related to the DOM file which changes the requirements of a British mission, which takes in account that Inglis also belongs to the British culture group.

Be sure to check out our mod which only incorporates the vanilla cultures, as it doesn't also contain that DOM file: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?edit=true&id=3306979578

By the way, apologies for the late reply.
Eggman Jul 23 @ 9:12am
non that conflict with Europa however using the Europa tree it doesn't have a mission that activates the issue
deleteduser0  [author] Jul 23 @ 8:35am
That's strange, because for me, the option to fire the parliament issue and form Great Britain is available even with that mod. Which mods do you have activated?
Eggman Jul 23 @ 8:26am
Yeah
deleteduser0  [author] Jul 23 @ 8:26am
In Europa Expanded, with this mod?
Eggman Jul 23 @ 8:00am
also you can't form great Britain since if you use the mods tree you don't have to pass it in parliament it is just through a separate decision which doesn't appear
deleteduser0  [author] Jul 23 @ 3:26am
This is an unusual problem, as our mod does not interfere with files related to the mission GUI or estate privileges. I'll look into it today and let you know if I can find a solution.
Eggman Jul 22 @ 3:37pm
it's with England it doesn't load up the Europa expanded mission tree properly so some stuff is missing and the tree itself appears to be a broken base tree and the welsh privilege for the nobility at game start doesn't appear
deleteduser0  [author] Jul 22 @ 2:29pm
It seems to us that this mod works with Europa Expanded. What type of bugs or conflicts are you experiencing?
Eggman Jul 22 @ 12:02pm
may be a weird question however anyway to have it working properly with the europe expanded mod
McAlkis  [author] Jul 20 @ 2:24am
And there's still a lot more to come!
Morgan-Giggs Jul 19 @ 6:29pm
Sweet holy mother... You've fixed the grand campaign for me.
deleteduser0  [author] Jul 14 @ 4:32am
Thank you for your opinion
APTAKCEPKC Jul 14 @ 4:26am
Thank you very much for your hard work! In terms of immersion, this is the best mode by a laaarge margin)
deleteduser0  [author] Jul 13 @ 3:39pm
The new update is here!
deleteduser0  [author] Jul 7 @ 2:27pm
It seems that this mod conflicts with the pre-included Inglis and French cultures. The French culture differs from both the Francien culture and the French culture group.

To play this mod with Xorme AI, use our submod, which incorporates only the vanilla cultures: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3306979578
R0B0T Jul 7 @ 6:50am
I used this mod with xorme AI and England and France regions with the new culture now have “no culture”
suoncha  [author] Jul 1 @ 3:36am
thanks, I have been chatting with deleteduser0
McAlkis  [author] Jul 1 @ 1:58am
Sure you can message us to discuss the details.
suoncha  [author] Jun 30 @ 2:58pm
hi, can I integrate some parts of your mod into AB?
McAlkis  [author] Jun 30 @ 12:31pm
Ante Bellum adds many new provinces to the map, so any newly added provinces will just have the default names.
