LAG FIX:
Each elevator needs to have its button console removed as it is lagging the game immensely, Once shot or broken, the map runs fine

Why is this laggy now it use to be very smooth when you spawn in but its now laggy

There is a problem in the last update, fps drops to 8 when it starts in a certain region

im play on very good pc and map is laggy 7 month ago was not pls make somthing with that glitch

If you use the remover tool you can remove the elevator buttons in the elevator and this will fix the lag

its still very laggy even tho i got a better pc

why do the elevators make the game so laggy, please fix it doesnt make any sense because after i delete them the lag disappears

Do similliar map without elevators. I have to delete them manually every time because with them I have 20 fps when I look exactly in their direction, in other parts of the building everything is fine.

Strangely enough, the elevators that start at floor 15 do not impact performance

found the issue, deleting the elevators seem to solve it.

getting bad frame drops but only when I'm looking at specific parts of the map. Seems to be something on the first few floors but I can't narrow it down. No frame drops if I'm in the building after the first ~3 floors, pretty weird behavior.

@Cranial Toxicity which modes are you running it on? like which options are you choosing in the menu?

@Cranial Toxicity its not running any different than it did before, at least for me and other people i have asked

@Dmndsteve One of the recent updates essentially broke the map's optimization, so there's really no way to play it at a stable framerate anymore without somehow reverting your game to an older version.

It would likely be relatively simple for the mod author to fix this, but the project appears to be dead. It's a shame, too - even incomplete, this was my favorite map in the game. Hopefully one day someone will recompile it for modern teardown and maybe even add more floors. We can only hope.
