What would stop with this tool working all-together? I wanted to use the Unnatural Selection mod (which requires MCT to function) and after installing both it's safe to say that neither are functional since the "Button that appears in the top left" doesn't show up for me.

As far as I'm aware, SFO has a version of TTC embedded, which has MCT settings, so it'll show up in the menu. SFO opted to make their own menu for settings instead of using MCT so it looks unintended but, to my knowledge, it's intended.

Hmmm upon looking into it the mod says it was created by "Drunk flamingo", who happens to be one of the creators of SFO(a mod i am using). Is this interacting with SFO in an intended way perhaps? This is seemingly unneeded for SFO cause it comes with options to change the caps.

I just started a Queek IE campaign with this mod and Mixu's Unlocker, no problems.
Unsubscribe & resubscribe, Verify Files, check Data for old .pack files.

Just a quick FYI as i seem to have pinpointed the culprit. This mod seems to bug out Ostankya's Hex quests. With this mod on they never trigger. Tried disabling the mod and loading the campaign right before the first hex should unlock and trigger the quest and it immediately worked.

Re-downloading fixed the ctd on startup for me too. If you use WH3 Mod Manager. You can force re-download through the app. Which also works.

This was also the case for another mod I'm using.

Mod works just fine, its just that the patch bricked other stuff for unrelated reasons, sorry about that. Thanks for getting a workaround done so soon!

Redownloading may require unsubscribing -> opening the CA launcher -> closing it -> resubscribing -> opening the CA launcher, or straight up finding the file in the /workshop/ folder and nuking it. The whole download process is error-prone, I see it fail somewhere all the time

UPDATED FOR THE PATCH. That was a fucking adventure...for some Godforsaken reason, probably a bug, CA made it so that capital letters now cause mods to crash. Yes I'm being serious. the great DJ-Frodo, father of our modern modding tools, rapidly developed a custom tool to check/fix all instances of caps but really...come on CA....

I pity the modders who aren't active on the Discord and might not notice/realize the weird issue (which isn't flagged by any of the normally used tools).

The uppercase/lowercase letters do seem to be the issue. There are 5 lua scripts with uppercase letters in their file names. I changed them to all lowercase with RFPM and the game fired up just fine.

Crashes for me as well on startup when only MCT is enabled, the game works fine without this mod. It's a new patch though so no big deal.

I think I got two mods settings mixed in each other. i.e. - I enable mod A and see setting for mod B instead. This remains even if I unsubscribe to both and then resubscribe to one of them. How can I clear settings for specific mods or for all of MCT?
It's two of the Dynamic Disasters mods if that matters.

MCT has nothing to do with the implementation or creation of settings. You'd have to ask the mod authors in question to set up MCT settings

Modders indicate the Required Items for their mods in the right-hand column of their mod's page. You need Mixu's Unlocker for those mods. You also need various bits of official games / DLC too.

If I boot the game up with just the Nagash mod and its required mods, Nagash is a vampire lord. If I boot it up with just the jade vampire mods and it's requirements, it's a vampire lord. Both armies only have the lord and one unit in the army. Any help would be greatly appreciated been driving me nuts.

I don't know what is going on exactly, but all faction mods that I am using aren't working with just the required mods activated, and the one I think that might be responsible is this one. Any help would be appreciated!
