does the new version work with valour?
I am encountering an error trying to play this with ultrahotmod.

My load order is correct:
Hotmod 1968
West 81
UltraHotmod
BM mod

I am getting this error on boot up:

Whatever WeTransfer is, it does not allow uploading and/or sharing files, at least not in a way that i can understand.

Do you have any older versions available? I still play 1.049, and using the current version just instantly crashes on activation.

There is a guide on how to reduce the number of decals and/or their lifetime. The link is in the end of the mod description above.
That being said, i will try to find time to run some tests - i have noticed that vanilla blood sprites were changed, so that might be contributing to the lag.
There is an enforced total limit on decals and body parts in the mod - so it shouldnt lag more than it used to before the last update. Unless the vanilla decals were updated with much higher resolution or somesuch.

Love the mod but I'm gonna have to find an alternative due to how laggy it is. When enough decals/gibs get piled up in one place the FPS drops to the single digits when looking at it. :(

After Testing the problem for myself seems to be between this and Hortons front lines. there was not a problem before the recent update. For now hortons is removed

I'm also having issues, i have to put at start of mod list to boot game correctly however the features do not work. If i place anywhere else within my list it will crash. My mod list is light featuring Horton mod / warrior animation mod / everything stays / Goh visabilty / CVS mod / Wobbles sounds and voice expanded frame work

If I learned what's involved in updating mods I'd happily handle updates for you. Definitely a must have mod for the game. But I have no experience in it and I'm sure it's not a fast learning process. Maybe I can get chatgpt's dumbass to do it for us?

I will say if I figure out a way to get it done with AI, I will be turning off the comments on a submod. I don't know how mod creators deal with morons screeching update your free mod on a daily basis

my apologies for not doing any updates
as i have mentioned earlier, i am a very grown up man with a full time job, and i have recently bought a house, so its hard to find the necessary motivation for updates
i would gladly let someone take over from here, to continue development and updates
you only need the 3D-assets provided with this version of the mod, while the rest of the files can be overwritten by an updated version, so pretty much anyone can keep this mod updated, by releasing a "patch" or "submod"
that being said, i will do my best to dedicate one of the upcoming evenings to make an update

compatibility with other mods can be tricky, and i simply dont have the energy - its not hard or complicated, but its very tedious and takes hours of testing and such

It's still working fine, but I'd like to see the smoke appear as a square in west81 mode fixed. I can't play the game without this mod anymore.

For some crazy reason, I'm fairly certain that this mod prevents progression in the 1st bonus mission of Jubilee ("Red Tide"): the second objective to fire the flare near the lighthouse cannot be completed. I tested multiple times to isolate the fault, so I can safely say that this mod is causing the issue, for whatever reason.

I wish this worked in multiplayer, it gets resource desync so i assume everyone needs to have it. Is there something you can do so it works in MP? I'd take some set backs from the gore as long as there still is some. For instance the uncensored flag mod works in mp.

Ah gotcha.
@roflcake$ This mod does not work with west 81 since the creator uses their own fx that conflicts with it. Causes crashes when a body explodes too with recent update.

Really wondering how you guys are able to make it work with West 81, because it causes pixelated VFX regardless of where I put BM in the load order.
