This is one of my favorite mods to combine with Medieval Overhaul. Please, if you don't have the time or interest to update to 1.5, can you make a statement on it so someone who does might continue it? Right now it hard-locks the game whenever it tries to spawn in a modded faction's encounter.

If you do plan to update this, you could probably reuse textures from Lord of the Rims considering that project seems to have been abandoned.

what tech level do these factions have? good for a medieval play through maybe?

@Sir Lead I have not noticed it, but I also don't go for the biolabs that much. It shouldn't be my mod causing that issue, as I have only added xenotypes, genes, and factions. I'm not sure where I'd even start to fix a bug like that too

@camdnbems I really like this mod, but I had a question. For some reason the "found biolab" event constantly keeps appearing, like end to end, one appears and then when it ends another is immediately there. Has that happened for you at all?

@Tactical Drongo I'm sorry. I don't know what would be causing that, unless it's just updating the mod. On the bright side, I don't really plan on updating for awhile. The rest of the things I want to do I need to figure out how things work on a much deeper level, and that's going to take a long time.

@Ickum Sorry about that, I didn't realize I broke something. the issue didn't some when testing though.

But, now things should be good. I don't know if it's restore them in the old save, but they should appear in new games now

After the last update, all of the mods factions disappeared from my game world.
I went to create a new world to see if it was my save and the factions just weren't available to spawn in the world creation anymore.

@Tactical Drongo Sorry about that, I didn't think it would have any major effect. It was just tweaking some defs because some people were having debug popups. I don't think I have an older version saved that I could send you so you can keep playing.

I don't know what was patched today but now my savegame wants to generate all the settlements for the species of this mod and the game freezes up when I load the world map

@camdnbems yeah I think despite it being listed as an error, it isn't a "critical error" that prevents anything from loading as far as I can tell, but I thought it would be worth sharing. I believe the standard is "_" for separation. I'm not super well versed on rimworld modding, changing the defs might break existing saves, definitely worth testing before pushing any change.

I tried searching briefly for information about defName migration to maintain save game compatibility but my google-fu was lacking. There likely is a way to do this though, at least that's my uninformed guess. Maybe someone on the discord or in the forums would be better able to answer that?

@martianant I'm not running into any issues. I don't know exactly what's happening but I'm guessing it has to do with my defs using ".". It should't break anything if I turn them all into "_" instead right?

Config error in CBA.Dwarf: defName CBA.Dwarf should only contain letters, numbers, underscores, or dashes.
