this mod does not need an update it works great and liu has the best model and proportions of most of the earlier cathay heroes. i got a good laugh the other day when i found out somebody else's mod turned her 3d model into a skaven. i have no clue which mod did it, but i think its probably one of the legendary lord or faction overhauls.

Using this in multiplayer - all other players hard crash to desktop if you embed her into your army. Thank you for the mod though, it's neat~

Yes, I do plan to update these mods eventually but not right now, since I don't have a lot of free time for modding.

The mod will be updated for the new patch soon, however, as of right now I'm not planning to actively support it. As such, it will not be remade and/or expanded in the nearest future.

She spawned after first battle but cannot do anything except walking on map, cannot add her to army, cannot see her skill tree... She's just giving me vision on map, that's all

She spawned but in addition to the default alchemist. She cannot do anything that a hero should be able to do: can't join an army, can't perform missions. Just an expensive undead scout on the strategic map.

great mod! is it possible to use the console mod to spawn her if you play as another faction? she doesnt spawn for miao if ai plays her, unlike enhi who always shows up for ziao. so i can confederate enhi but not liu.

— Optimized most textures, the mod should be much lighter.

Dude it works with Legendary Characters.
Just tried a new campaign and at the start I have BOTH Liu and Nanyne Bunyuo (sniper from Legendary Character).
She just replace the random alchemist, so it's perfect.

I hope this isn't going to get taken down. Looks pretty cool

as for the default line i dont mind if she has one or not however i dont think people like constantly being spammed with a lord or hero having unspent skillpoints and currently she doesnt have enough skills to put points in as she would have an excess of 11 points

i am aware of the alchemist being gone thanks for the fix

Thank you for pointing this out, should now be fixed. However, if you use this mod alongside Legendary characters, Liu will spawn instead of the default alchemist. Not sure what is causing this.

Originally, I had no intention to add any default skills. I might do this in the future, but most likely I will add them to her mutually exclusive skill paths instead of making standart skill row.

My recommendation is to give her a standard melee line other heroes have, and slightly lower her base stats to compensate. Also give her some ap damage on her weapon as she'll do next to no damage to high armor units. It doesn't need to be a lot of ap damage, a mere 100 will at least mean she won't be useless against max (or over max) armored units. Other than that it's a neat character, the model is a bit skimpy but I don't mind (would recommend putting a backup on nexus too), and that's all I got, I do praise you for your hard work, so keep at it.

if you value your effort and time making this mod, is better if you upload in LL Warhammer 3 club or Nexus

so i tried booting up with her and she seems to conflict with legendary compilation heroes so the ranged hero from that doesnt spawn at all and she has no magic/combat etc line only her custom skills which is too tiny even by vanilla standards so i am assuming the conflict of some sort is not showing everything right

starting the timer on when this is going to be nuked.... please upload to LL or Nexus as well if you haven't already...
