EZ8 May 25, 2023 @ 9:18pm

Creg Apr 7, 2023 @ 11:01am
Ingredient has not changed
SephSeraph Apr 4, 2023 @ 1:12am
bro please bring back the human drugs option so i can have androids on crack again please
Boiling Man Apr 2, 2023 @ 6:47am
are there ways to make androids unable to flirt with my colonist?
SkimmingDawg Mar 19, 2023 @ 10:01pm
use make anything craftable if you want to change the recipe without asking the owner, the mod lets you change already in the game recipes and there cost to make
Doktober Mar 19, 2023 @ 8:39pm
That is, the debug log is spitting out a bunch of errors referencing a patch error for each android tier
Doktober Mar 19, 2023 @ 4:26pm
Yeah T1's still require gold and advanced components for me too.
Zoran Mar 18, 2023 @ 7:08pm
It seems that the recipes are not modified by the mod, probably a bug.
Eversor Mar 18, 2023 @ 3:46pm
Is it just me or does the recipe adjustments not work?
Swimmy Mar 10, 2023 @ 3:01pm
You should change the charging rates/ energy loss rates of the androids because i think that they made it faster for androids to lose power.
Energyboy Mar 7, 2023 @ 4:07pm
So according to Kill, this is a change that is expected (?) Although I have heavy IT background, I am new to the inner workings of Rimworld so my personal attempt at patch operations are not going smoothly lmao
Energyboy Mar 6, 2023 @ 8:45am
Yeah, I saw that nested recipe maker, but I really don't understand the thought process behind nesting it instead of having a separate recipe def
Winterbloom [✚] Mar 5, 2023 @ 9:37pm
I kind of saw this coming well before glencoe2004 uploaded this, as killathon actively keeps updating ATR, with a stupidly high frequency.
Winterbloom [✚] Mar 5, 2023 @ 9:36pm
Killathon exterminated the recipe defs for making androids and moved it into a RecipeMaker on the ThingDef. so the thing they patch physically no longer exists.
Energyboy Mar 5, 2023 @ 2:17pm
For everyone here, either ATR updated with legacy data attached still or something similar, but the recipe defs in this mod the the current version of ATR no longer match up and is making the patch operation fail
Energyboy Mar 5, 2023 @ 2:14pm
I was actually digging in the xml files and found the same inconsistency. I am working to make a personal patch, but maybe the author will see it. ATR is not completely rewritten yet, and I can see how much legacy data they have lying around

Android Tiers Reforged got an update and now I have some red error messages.

So I do have a massive modlist, but even putting this mod at the bottom does not remove the advanced component requirement from the T1 android. I have started removing android related mods to no avail - just commenting to see if there is any known issues currently
Tkhakiro Mar 1, 2023 @ 6:58am
@glencoe2004, hi! I would really like the return of M.U.F.F. from the original fashion. Is this feasible?
Eversor Feb 5, 2023 @ 3:01pm
your a lifesaver! thank you so much for adding this! it have no modding knowledge and dont know if this will work, but could you add customizable recipes or presets for recipes?
glencoe2004  [author] Jan 26, 2023 @ 3:48pm
@Pugpugpug123459 No. Either learn C# or use ATR.
Pugpugpug123459 Jan 26, 2023 @ 1:52pm
can you update the normal android tiers mod please
Mikhaleech Jan 24, 2023 @ 12:59pm
Please along with "Allow T5s to be used with SkyMind" restore the ability for T5 to wear apparels

thanks for this mod dude.
glencoe2004  [author] Jan 21, 2023 @ 2:14pm
Also, random question: what theme are you using? It looks pretty good.
glencoe2004  [author] Jan 21, 2023 @ 2:13pm
@Digit4lc4m You may need to unsubscribe and resubscribe to ATR for it to pop up. IIRC it was a recent addition.
DigitalCam Jan 21, 2023 @ 1:04pm
@Glencoe2004
Odd, I don't see such option...

For everyone else who hates maintenance: base ATR has a setting to turn it off. Go into Mod Options -> Android Tiers Reforged -> Health, and turn off "Mechanical units need maintenance."
TapDancingYimmy Jan 21, 2023 @ 10:36am
Yes! rebalance T1s!
DigitalCam Jan 21, 2023 @ 4:56am
+1 to getting the option to turn off maintenance need entirely or slider to adjust the rate. T1s were awful with the constant break down/ rusted parts, and one of the T2 I built got this -20 "I became what I hated" moodlet right after I installed the autonomous core. There are too many drawbacks for now.

@glencoe2004
Thank you, you're doing God's work. I don't like what I'm hearing in this comment section, so I'm glad that someone is doing SOMETHING right with this mod instead of merely nerfing THE EVERLOVING POOPOO out of it. Could we get an option to turn off maintenance need entirely, Modder-sama?
glencoe2004  [author] Jan 20, 2023 @ 1:57am
I've pushed an update that should increase how much food a T1 can store and how slow they drain it. Also as an FYI for everyone; Killathon identified a bug that made android maintenance tick down twice as fast as it should, so when that gets fixed I may reverse my T1 maintenance change
glencoe2004  [author] Jan 19, 2023 @ 11:41pm
@Darkness Wolf Holy shit I see what you mean, lmao T1s are useless. New patch incoming.
Darkness Wolf Jan 19, 2023 @ 7:20pm
T1's are near useless. maintenance decay is pretty bad, but only having like a 2 hour battery is killing me, any chance that can be changed at all? i remember in 1.3 using them as disposable infantry but atleast their default batteries lasted a day.
Voidlion Jan 19, 2023 @ 12:58pm
i actually talked to the creator and he said androids are supposed to be midgame units
A V.O.I.D Representative Jan 18, 2023 @ 4:46pm
Can you please re-add the sound effects for skymind
Mismagius Jan 16, 2023 @ 1:52pm
ok nevermind about the disabling the maintenance, the android tiers reforged just added in a option to disable it in the config
CMaia Jan 16, 2023 @ 4:19am
hey. it's possible to make possible to enable or disable individual changes? I like to keep T1s using advanced components because in my modlist this makes sense
Mismagius Jan 15, 2023 @ 11:18pm
hey, just so you know, if you want to remove the maintenance, just put the <needsMaintenance>false</needsMaintenance> in the race files in defs/thingdefs_races and put that line of code somewhere in between </modExtensions> in the race files. T5 android already has that line of code so there is no need for that
glencoe2004  [author] Jan 15, 2023 @ 10:35pm
New update that adds the following features:

- T1s use a new, cheaper recipe. Additionally, T1s no longer require Advanced Components. (seriously why does the T1 use advanced components? It's pretty much DoA when you consider the fact that by the time you have a sufficient supply of ACs to use on effectively disposable androids you're far past the point where they would actually be useful)

- T1 global work speed buffed from 45% to 55%, in alignment with old AT.

- Unfeeling is back, and gives bigger bonuses. Additionally, there is a T1-only unfeeling variant that gives a bigger global work speed bonus.
Mismagius Jan 14, 2023 @ 9:04pm
glad to see someone is making a mod that is removing all those nerfs that android tiers has gotten in the latest version.
SkimmingDawg Jan 14, 2023 @ 6:08pm
yessir finally a mod that makes T5 androids as supreme as possible again
