why isn't bettany's book in the room with all the books? the one that you enter with an active item that lets you choose a book?

I like the idea of this mod but had to ultimately take out my mod list after months cause a vast majority of books just don't give even half the utility of vanilla stuff, in a way this mod nerfs books in the game in general :(

Hello! I dunno where to write as I have a book I cannot find any info where it is from (Book of books) I dunno sadly what mod it came from... but I write it anyway as the book activates all the books at the same time but the "write s story" book glitches out and it wont let me get rid of the write pop up (only way to get rid of it is to exit and come back. Just wanted to let it know so the mod dev is aware :)

I keep getting a glitch where the weird book uses up charges when I use it, but it doesn't actually do anything, with any book it absorbs. Like I don't have any other major mods, I don't know what could be causing that

Before the passive books were taken out, TBOATB had a very low weight in Library, but now that it doesn't appear in LC the weight has been standardised, so TBOATB is something powerful that changes your run in interesting ways, but it doesn't appear enough for it to be distruptive to general gameplay.
Regarding Bombinomicon, yes, it's necronomicon + bomb book, it's both of their effects combined and it's formed when you pick up one book while having the other, bombinomicon itself doesn't spawn naturally, it's either gotten by merging these two books, or getting it from DC or LC

With the passive books being taken out, how will I be able to get the book of all the books? It being in the LC room still gives the chance to get said removed books. ie; The Book of Virtues (and any other passive book in the game, I'm only aware of Virtues and TBOFTB (I don't have Lemegton unlocked yet so idk if it was shelved)).

I admit, I do go for Virtues whenever I find the LC, but with TBOFTB being taken out, it heavily reduces the opportunity of getting said removed books. Maybe adding in a percentage chance of getting TBOFTB as a reward for beating challenge rooms? I think it would be fair to add since it still allows you to get passive books even though they've been shelved. What do you think? At the very least, it gives an additional incentive to play those rooms.

Also, the Bomb book and Bombonomican are basically the same book. I propose that Bomb book be absorbed into the bombonomican to free up a book slot for something else! Thank you for such an amazing mod.

i had a glitch where i couldnt use minecrafter after using the mining book, it might have been a problem due to jacob and esau, but still that feels important

Been playing this mod for about a month or so, and I think it's great. The only criticism I have, which I believe strongly, is that the Library Certificate room should not have any passive books placed in it. I know the point of it is "Death Certificate but for books!" but I think the passive books (ok basically just book of Virtues) completely undermine the intent because they're just such better options.

I really think this would be the change that makes this a mod I can't play without, because everything else in it balances the game out perfectly.

There also is the other option to make it more rare (which might be a good idea anyways), but I think that's a much bigger change than needed to fix a small issue.

I'll see what I can do.

Any chance you can increase the space of the library certificate room I have so many mods with different books and the space provided has made some completely unreachable.

the library certificate is not working, it was something randomly since i didnt install any new mods.
I was playing apollyon with a mod that reworked him when I got the bug that didnt let me use the item.
i checked if with other characters the item worked but it seems that it doesn't work at all.
should i send a log file or something?

all the books (minus the technical ones that aren't supposed to give the transformation) have the "book" tag, which contributes to the bookworm transformation (they always did since release)

Can you make the books contribute towards the Bookworm transformation, if they don't already? Last I checked, they didn't contribute.

I love all your resprite mods i’m not sure if you work on them still but a cool idea could be spider/fly resprites? some fly items look bland and spider ones could be cooler

Do you know why one of the books shows a full screen of gibberish text in the External Item Description mod?

the book and the lag are not connected, the lags cause might be errors, too many mods or just a low performance machine.

There's a book (no idea what it actually is). That completely breaks the EID mod and replaces it with a bunch of gibberish and lags the game.

it's a rare bug as books aren't really supposed to spawn in boss rush (without other collectibles from other mods or chaos/essence of eden)
I'll check if it's feasible to fix without affecting performance

wierd book denies boss rush (it just consumes the book and nothing happens). Is it a feature or a bug? (i got 4 books on boss rush and just can't start it)

check log for errors, the first mod who errors might be causing the issue, it's a mod incompatibility as Library Certificate works just fine for most people

library certificate crashes the game on use

I just used the Library Certificate inside a devil room and every time I tried to leave the devil room, it would place me back into the Library Certificate room again. I was only able to get out of this loop by using the debug console to give myself a teleport card.

weird book just attempted to give me several copies of (i think) every item in the game and got stuck in a loop. had to end the run. i think it was trying to copy lemegeton? im not completely sure how its supposed to work, this was my first time encountering the book, but i assume its not sposed to do *that* lol...

The pop up that tells you how many pages are needed for Blank Book is partially blocked when using tainted ???. the poop queue hides the beginning of the pop up so you cant see how many it says

Godhead is an outdated mod with broken callbacks, it will break any mod that is loaded after it
always check for outdated mods when installing new ones

I was having issues with no active items in this mod working so went through my mod list. The character Godhead being installed completely breaks this mod for some reason. Just commenting in case that helps someone.
