ya mines only that high from Extreme gene minipulation and mods that make psyclothes better. Weaker all around but shoots up the sensativity.

Hey real quick was hopeing you could help me out Love your mod love the style and love the implementation however in my game which is just modded beyond reason I find the weapons to be under performing so I went to give em a little buff just a boot in damage but I cannot for the life of me find the number in the EW_weapons.xml that I should be editing in order to increase the base damage that is then further multiplied by Psy sens For example on this page it says that the lance's base damage is 30 which is then multiplies by psy sens with 15 of the damage being a offset that is unaffected? just confused about which numbers here I should be tweaking to get the results I want. My englesh is pretty bad so sorry if this is illegible tyty

This is what i needed. My ideo is ranged only so eltex staff was never an optiom.

Any chance of compatibility being added for Vanilla Expanded Persona Weapons? When getting to design your weapon as a reward from the empire these show up in the list, but don't work. It actually breaks the window if they are selected.

The damage of the lance is too tiny, even for vanilla-strength games. Especially when you want to fight enemies with low psy-sensitivity. I would suggest that you double the damage.

Some players may find it powerful when you somehow get a 689% sensitivity guy, but it's hard to have one.

Eltex Persona Cannon: A shoulder mounted cannon that can fire out a set type of psionic pulse into a specific individual, which can cause the target to be sent into a berserk frenzy and has their incoming damage reduced by 15-20%, whilst having slightly increased speed. After the effect wears off, they enter a psionic induced coma for several days, with the risk of their brain frying after the pulse wears off. Unfortunately, the Eltex inside will be torn apart, but it can be fixed at a Machining Table. There is a chance for some Eltex to survive.

@Genos Not as of last night.
The weapons do use ammo from CE, but they damage based only on ammo type.
Effectively making the Eltex Pistol and M1911 that gives you a psyfocus bonus but hits your wealth really hard

@Jesse1079 TBF the damage you can get with high sensitivity pawns is crazy high. My persona Eltex Pistol on my psyker does 30+ damage per shot. It's basically a pistol with the damage output of a small squad of well equipped soldiers. It would be great if we could adjust the damage scaling in the settings though. I'm playing with Zombieland and that same pistol does next to no damage to them :(

@GamerOxi I'm not getting any incompatibilities with Simple Sidearms. Try unsubbing and resubbing to the mods and verifying your game files via Steam. Probably some Steam issue again.

Another Suggestion:Make low psy-sensitivity only reduce a limited percentage of damage.Seeing a super advanced weapon deal only minimal damage to a random Hussar is just painful

I think the eltex weapons need a new weaponTag to prevent them from spawning with random Hussars and becoming a complete joke.

Fyi this mod seems to be incompatible with Simple Sidearms. I can send logs if you want but long story short they just freeze up pawns when they hunt/cause all sorts of red errors in the log

I don't want to sound rude but I wanted to ask if are this weapons more of a gimmick option or they do have some utility? Like, not asking if they're better than pulse rifle but if they're a reliable end game option.

I love the idea that, despite being absolutely terrible at combat, with how these weapons work, a Phytokin would potentially be pretty deadly, as their xenogerm states that they get more psychically sensitive as they age!

Greetings, I noticed traders (both cities/random traders) in all tech ages are not buying persona versions of the weapons, only the regular ones, but are correctly buying persona weapons from both vanilla and from the "Persona bond forge" mod.

Is it an oversight or is my massive modlist to blame ? :awkward:

For those suffering AthenaFramework.DamageAmpliferExtension errors, it is coming from the Mighty Persona Bond Forge mega-patch. Not Eltex Weaponry or Athena Framework specific.

@BartyM To share logs just have hugslibs on and when you open the game logs there will be a share button where you can toss it as a github link

And do note that this mod isn't compatible with CE, unless they did make a patch on their end

I have one of my pawns using an eltex lance, although he'll take time to aim, the weapon won't fire. Instead, I get the following two error messages (can't post the whole messages due to Steam character limit, so have just posted the first lines for each, can share more if helpful):

Exception ticking Chef (at (110, 0, 178)): System.InvalidCastException: Specified cast is not valid.

Exception ticking EW_Bullet_EltexLance5605551 (at (0, 0, 0)): System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Is this a CE conflict or is there anything else I might be able to do to fix this? Really keen to use this mod, thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer on this!

@RogueCmdr That was a fuck up on my part, on which i'm pretty sorry and feel dumb about, someone seemingly found a fix for it. I fixed the mistake the minute i realized it but it seems steam didn't register that properly

"seems like some odd behaviour with Steam's subscribing mechanism, it just doesn't redownload the mod automatically nor when you resubscribe.
Tried unsubbing, deleting the mod folder and resubbing, and restarting the game, that did the trick.
For anyone who wants to do the same the game ID is 294100, and the mod ID is 2856335335"
Here would be a fix for it

as an archer, i feel like an eltex bow would be nice. no idea how it would work, maybe as the string is drawn the psychic power of the user forms into an arrow, maybe the arrow is magnified and propelled by an eltex lens? idk. i'd like to think it would look almost like the tek bow from ark when it's drawn. cool concept i think, and would love to see it in-game; it's your mod though, do what you want.
