Can you update version 1.5? Another version 1.5 is in effect regardless of player faction, so if you can update it, thank you very much

Feel free to recompile with the 1.5 dlls. It will likely work after that. Someone that understands what I just said should be able to fork it and re-upload. I won't be on 1.5 for around a year or 2.

Tested with only harmony, causes pawns to not generate and factions to spawn with null relations to the player faction, and only spawned one faction. Also was unable to get past whether to activate ideology or not.

It's just not compiled against the 1.5 dll so I'm sure there's something conflicting

When I run the mod it doesn't detect an error from the game's debug mode, but the vanilla factions won't load and the game won't start.

Not sure what 1.5 added that effected the mod, it's possibly clashing with another mod?

@Nikolaier it still works on enemies, I think that’s what the maximum random level is. I just got a raid with a level 5 raider

nearly immortal squirrels killing your colony was half the fun of the original mod, would be nice to have an option to enable this on hostile pawns again

It's a nice mod but there are a few drawbacks:
Adding hit points to parts means mechanoids become hell to repair since they consume energy for repairing hit point: I have a level 30 health tankish noid which get my mechanitor stuck because it reaches 0 energy and the mechanitor still tries to repair - impossible without energy
also pure driders from mechanite plague created upgrading pure bursters don't get the health hediff

unrelated to mechanoids: warcaskets from VFE Pirates are HELL of a bullet sponge

The original mod says you level up depending on damage taken. Would it be possible to also gain XP for damage dealt ?

I'll use the mod regardless but I'd imagine someone who has shot at and/or killed hundreds would be pretty damn hard to bring down.

I'm kinda confused about the leveling rate... Does a higher number level up faster or slower?

Any chance you can add an option to the mod to remove the level up noise? It is almost deafening some times. Also what is the difference between Simple and Compounding Leveling/Health? Haven't been able to find out what the different options are. Also is there anyway to disable Mechs from leveling up their Health? I don't feel that a mech should be able to level up their body parts like a living pawn.

That conversation wasn't about the settings, it was about enemy pawns gaining levels.

The other version's options simply don't work at all.

You're right, I kinda want the challenge back too, and if you choose to make it easy to level... there should be consequences. However I can't make it an option so it's all or nothing. I'll add it back in.

I agree with Lordlynel, bring back the feature you took out and make it toggleable instead. Some of us like a challenge like that

Enemies can still spawn in leveled, they just don't gain levels when getting hit since it's kinda pointless...

Your log is trimmed, you need to use the publish option. Regardless, nothing I changed would cause any NEW incompatibilities. So it must have existed in the previous version as well. Still post a new log and I'll see what I can do.

I've also updated the mod to no longer be effective on hostile pawns that are not the player so end game modded factions don't become invulnerable bullet sponges while you're trying to kill them if your settings have a low leveling threshold
