If you mean craft, you need Wire, Metal Scrap, Metal Sheet, Tape, Glue, Nails, Metal Can, Chemicals, Metal Bar, One Way Glass and Crafting III (level 3 crafting) skill. If you mean spawn, you type "/give " then type the standard ID specified for each item, including surveillance box in the list provided in the description (click "IDs👈" link). If you meant neither of those 2, you need to ask more detailed questions.

The mod just does not work and live update, I am at confed in a base watching cams that are at holman and they just do not live update and freeze on the monitors is there any fix?

Mods are very similar and so players should avoid installing them together.

Does having this and Camera Mod (62k) double the amount of "channels" or do they use the same ones?

I hear you, althought I don't know any obvious way of solving the issue. Lowering the number of channels does not improve FPS. Issue is that each camera your game has loaded on the map means the game has to render a new perspective on your computer, this can be the same channel camera placed multiple times in the same area. I'd have to test this but I think its possible to improve preformance by decreasing the camera resolution however doing that of course means you lose more and more detail. Right now, its 720 x 450 (16:10 aspect ratio).

Incredible mod, very useful and for a server this is very funny...however I really sugest an optimization or something, even if we lose some chanels it will be for the necesary, I can put even 5 cameras bur some other players will have like 30fps, so not very useful using only 2 cameras...Just a sugest, very nice mod

Updated the mod, added "Military camera NVG" and "Tactical display" + tablet which shows all channels on 1 screen although it can't be crafted because its unfinished but can be spawned.

In crafting menu, search for: Surveillance box

You will then use that item almost exclusively for all other things in crafting.

How do you use these? i look in barricade but it's not there am i doing something wrong?

At this point, I need a video, because I can't be explaining each comment individually. Channels are the ones which allow you to view different cameras on different monitors. If you want to have each monitor seeing its own camera, you must use more than 1 channel. Boxes aren’t storages, they are just crafting items. If you just pressed F to "use" (on camera) and took a closer look, you would have realised it’s just a text writing window, just like the one on note item. There are 9 different cameras per channel because they are different, they don’t all look the same and they don’t all move the same.

I don't get the question at the end. If you mean: does each player in a server get its own full set, then no. Anyone can hijack anyone's channel, as long as they got/place the camera from the channel another player is using. Anyone can also tap into anyone's channel if they got the right channel for the display of their choice (TV, monitor, laptop, etc). Another note I would add is that on servers, cameras stop working for players who are around 500 meters away from them BUT, if the camera is placed on any vehicle or the player is holding one (such as scope camera or mountless camera) in the server, they will load everywhere.

This mod is awesome but the lack of documentation is frustrating some people I think and I think I can help, here are my notes.

The IDs are in the image reel at the end, you only need this when setting up NPCs, testing out or just using admin but generally you can craft everything.

* Each line is a set AA,BB,CC and so on. There are several cameras and monitor types the same in each set. These sets can be thought of as channels. For example, an AA TV will display an AA camera but not a BB camera.

* A box is a crafting ingredient which allows you to make any one item, eg camera, monitor, laptop.

* Boxes are craftable and at craft time you choose which set you're crafting.

* it will be the last camera in the set that is displayed,

The workflow is: crafting boxes -> crafting with the box to get item.

Once you craft the final item for a channel, for example, large TV, you cannot change the channel of that item anymore, you will have to make it from scratch if you want a different channel.

Is there anyway to change the monitor to the other cameras that you set up?

If that message is inside a box which also has text "imgur,com" , you are looking at the wrong picture. That’s supposed to be an animated gif which is located at the top of the description. The picture I’m talking about is in the collection above the description and mod name.

Its second to last picture. It's possible you don't see it if you happen to be looking from phone because phone screens are small and so web pages tend to be made bigger automatically so it’s easier to navigate them, but steam pages aren't designed that well, so some elements aren’t shown correctly. If you are looking for the picture in the description, then yea, it’s not there, it’s with all other screenshots.

I said it before and I will say it again, I won't write down the IDs, it's almost pointless. Use the ID list provided in the screenshots or even better, craft them by spawning 58000 and go on from there. Unless you want to craft the camera scope, you won’t need any other item apart from 58000.

Answer it too complicated, there are more than just 1 camera per channel, there is no computer, there are only monitors of different types, or as I call them, displays. For all the IDs, look at the pictures in the workshop page, there is a picture that’s an ID list in there.
