I can't find any other issues it works so well! I'm not sure why the on-scene display misfunctioned it must have been a fluke!
Thanks again!
The on-scene coordinator display has a separate on/off button just besides the screen, it's working as intended for me. Just press the button and the display should turn on.
The top bunk is ahum, a bit of a problem, yes ^^ I'll see what I can do about that.
Bug: If you use the top bunk you can't get back out, lol.
Does the small winch have a retract function? I cannot find it.
For others wondering how to control the crane, you need to grab the Radio Controller from a small drawer inside near the door.
1. I'm aware of this, though it's hard to fix. This is quite common for smaller boats and is an effect of the physics drag calculations being a bit wonky, so one side gets more drag for some reason. Only way to counteract it is with heading hold or trim...
2. Now this is one I'm a bit annoyed with myself and I think I know what the issue is - it's got to to do with the way I made the microcontroller. I will try to fix this when I have time, especially since it's a nice microcontroller I will use for other vessels too.
3. I'm quite happy with only having autopilo as they fill very similar functions, so I usually add one of them.
4. The shore power connection is on the port side of the cabin exterior :)
5. You are damn right this is a thing, and it is confusing as hell. The display isn't connected to the engine controller and the RPM control seems to be fine. No idea why this is happening...
Corgi626 - Kiitos mate, glad you like it!
Ben - make sure you are using the highest physics settings if you're experiencing issues like these. Sometimes low physics settings can make complicated vehicles with several pivots glitch out.
Track - the crane up/down is controlled using keys 1 and 2.
ThatGr8CdnGamer - I found the culprit :) Only the microphone and beep sound was connected up, not the radio antenna out signal. I'll upload a fixed version tonight, should work as intended now! Thank you for the report.
cavscout74 - That is just great to hear, nothing better than things just working like they're supposed to :)
1. The boat does slightly creep to the right under full power and trim pitched nose up.
2. At high speed, the steering seems a little too sensitive or the deadzone is a bit too high. Is there any way to make the steering at high speed easier to feather or a bit more presise?
3. A heading hold would be nice, or a way to hold current heading.
4. A shore power connection would be helpful so we don't need to leave the generator on auto start.
5. The RPM display seems to be inverted, but only when you split the throttle. Right graph indicates the left engine and left graph indicates right engine. Once you merge both throttles, then they indicate corectly.
Thank you.
As for complains of turning to the right... I'm only noticing an ever so slight tendency of turning to the right, like one degree per minute at most. Stuff like that is hard to get rid of in SW, it's usually a result of the drag differing from the different side due to the randomness in the physics drag calculations with the newer wedges, at least how I understand it. If you're experiencing severe drifting, make sure that you have clutched in both water jets and that your water jets are both set to fully forward (press spacebar to switch between synced mode and split control mode).
how to get it to not turn
