As i put mods that turn the game truly OP as well.
10/10 actually makes the ruin a challenge.
and by "small preview", I mean the whole damn fight lol
it's freaking awesome, and the Nox fight is now more challenging, especially those tricks go so quick one can hardly react in time.
Frankly, I return this game after a long time no starbound, I didn't realise I ve sub this mod, but when I reach the final boss fight, I was, at first, questioned, then I was surprised and had a splendid fight and a great experience.
Thank you sir for making such epic fight.
Have fixed the bug You identified where extra monster spawns would sometimes get stuck in mid air with both mods installed.
@SkylardX @StrangerDanger when combining Ruin Overhaul with the Tougher Mobs mod:
Ruin now has +50% Health (6000 HP). This also increases the chance of allowing the custom Asra Nox miniboss from Ruin Overhaul to spawn in before the end of the mission.
At the time of writing, it's possible to destroy the overhauled Ruin during the final phase before she has a chance to spawn, depending on where the improved AI is in the attack sequence and their fire power. Chances are this edge-case scenario will be patched soon :)
@tigerfestival1988 Thanks for the mention, and @VoidEyeGaming, thank you for testing your mod with Tougher Mobs. I installed and tested them separately and simultaneously and came to the same conclusions.
Your AI override both Asra Nox (end game) and Ruin, leaving behind only the stat changes and extra loot dropped by the latter. However with both installed, I did notice that Asra Nox in the library used the AI from Tougher Mobs instead (e.g. summoning for reinforcements/having an alternative set of laser kunai dart darts/attack dialogue etc.); though from your public Github comments, I believe that's because Ruin Overhaul overrides the end game variant of her instead
Thanks again for the wonderful experience. I've linked to and recommended your mod through the mod synergies discussion and left you an Upvote 👍
Our battle will be legendary!
