As for if this needs an update, almost certainly, unless you're not using war sails. If not, it SHOULD be fine, but you probably won't have slings and the like. If you ARE using war sails, then it's likely that the Nords will remain unchanged, but everything else SHOULD work-ish.
Imperial armies have highly disciplined soldiers and foreign mercenaries. Fast archers, good cavalry and well armoured foot soldiers.
<- Need to be able to see in game the effect of higher disciplined soldiers
<- Some kind of average armour per soldier type would make it easier to estimate the value of troops, late-game it is all about the stats vs cost, with vanilla it has all been solved already mathematically with this overhaul it becomes hazy.
