Hi, to make them domestic, add [COMMON_DOMESTIC] and change [PET_EXOTIC] to just [PET], also change their pet value since they cost 10000 by default (too costly to buy).

Hi, any way to change them so you can choose in embark? I tried adding [COMMON_DOMESTIC] to the text file, but didn't seem to work

Added graphics for young cave drakes in version 1.02.

Did the drake initially have a graphical sprite? Did it start after some time?

I'm noticing that for some reason the Drake I've got has graphically bugged out and turned invisible at some point. It didn't start that way, and I'm not sure what's caused it.

Without the mod they are only partially tamable, take 1000 years to grow to their full size and are born as adults. With the mod, they are born as drakes, take 15 years to become adults and 150 years to grow as big as they can be.
Can't say for sure if existing worlds can be modified with a mod like this.

If not... I'm very interested in the mod :P

Will I have to create a new world for it to take effect?
Flowers Dec 30, 2022 @ 7:55pm
I thought this could already be done without a mod?

My mod should be compatible with Tamable Creatures Expanded. Just place Tamable Cave Dragons below in the load order.

Is this compatible with Tamable Creatures Expanded? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2898783240

Time to drop some wiki facts, regular dragon breaths fire, cave dragons do not. Regular dragon is a mega beast and grows to a max size of 25,000,000 cm^3 over the course of 1000 years growing at a rate of 25,000cm^3 per year whereas cave dragons grow to max size of 15,000,000cm^3 growing at a rate of 15,000cm^3 per year. For comparison the average dwarf is 60,000cm^3. As for why you might want cave dragons despite the fact they take ages to tame, grow and train, well have you ever heard of a fort named Archcrystal? http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=156319.0

In this mod, cave dragons are not available during embark, they must be captured on the 3rd cave layer, bred and their offspring should be tamed.
Cave dragons are different from normal dragons - normal dragons can fly, breathe fire and can grow to a larger size. Cave dragons are different.

can i get them on embark?
Lizy_Sticks Dec 25, 2022 @ 10:22am
