Ah. I think i found the culprit. The mod "More Apocritons in same wave" should be the conflict here. I disabled that and it worked fine.

I just double checked and the mod is working fine. I summoned down 2 diablos' one after the other and they both arrived with their helpers.

If the bosses aren't coming down it is likely due to a conflict with another mech related mod that might still need an update after the latest patch.

Just subscribed to this because I also don't like to wait the bosses, but am having the same problem as everyone here said: the cooldown is working, the minions come, but not the boss itself.

Still doesn't seem to work. no *Boss_name* incoming alerts after the summon, but at least the cooldown part works.

Yeah, having the same problem as @Clearwater and I'm not using any mech-related more apart from https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3296057117 which doesn't really have any compatibility issues with anything.

Seems like after the update today this mod is preventing summons... or it is incompatible with WVC work modes, i couldnt tell which one yet.

Yes, I also found that I can't summon the mechanical boss, I added Shining World Destroyer 5 and Alpha Mechanic, but the original boss can't be called out either.

This mod changes nothing about the units being summoned. I used it myself just last night and it worked fine. It is possible that there is a mod conflict with something else you have installed.

I just tried a new colony with only a few mods installed for testing. I was able to summon down the Cinder fights with no errors. I was completely unprepared and they kicked my colonist's butts, but they worked fine.

If you are still seeing the same error all I can think to suggest is to unsubscribe and resubscribe to both mods to make sure you have the latest versions. There was an update from the devs that changed something in the summons function very recently that might be causing problems if you don't have the latest versions.

I can't promise anything but I will take a look when I get spare time. (But right now I have no idea when that will actually be.)

They may be doing something similar to what I'm doing and making a copy of the base game mech summon function. It may just not be compatible with the changed version in this mod.

Excellent QoL mod, fixing one of those "Why is this even in the game in the first place" things I could never figure out. Works without a hitch with like 300+ other mods in my modlist.

Hello, first of all i want to say that this mod is amazing, and thank you for making it! However it seems to have issue with questnode bossgroup 0 when using [Fake signal generator] from mod Cinders of Embergarden. It is not critical issue, the summon is used to obtain one of researchable materials, and it does appear in trades rarely as well, but still i thought i would ask if it possible to patch it or whatever action it is, if it is not too much work. Sorry i have no clue how modding works sadly so all i can do is ask. Again, thank you for your work, you are awesome!

I have other mods where I harmony patch the resulting values of functions but I don't think that is possible in this case. The numbers here are hardcoded in the function and they are never exposed to be something that could be harmony patched. (As far as I know).

Can you do harmony patching to patch the quest node bossgroup to become zero to avoid future breaking like this? I also don't know how to do Harmony patching though, only that it's possible

I can't summon the mechanical boss today. It worked fine before until this morning's update. When I disabled this mod, I could summon it again. It might be because the Biotech DLC was also updated today, causing a reference change and making it impossible to summon. This mod is great and I like it.OVO

This is an absolute necessity. Defeating the bosses is nothing compared to having to wait to call the next ones. My boys are ready, bring in the next war queen!

Just tested it with Alpha Mechs. Turns out it just works. Faster summon and cooldown reset.

After some quick thought, I don't think this will give a faster calldown for that mod. It would require a patch the same as I had to do for the base Rimworld mech calldowns.

It might reset the boss calldown timer if they are using the default one.

Bloody hell thank you. I hate the fact I need to wait for summoning them wait for spawning then wait for the cool down. If i'm stupid enough to summon 8 of them make me pay for it don't prevent me.

Oh this mod is such a time saver, Kraltech needs 15 chips from 3 different bosses and that doesn't even count the 15 more chips needed for the transponders to spawn said bosses.
