suggestions:
To add to realism i would make melee weapons stuck in zomboids sometimes. Especially with spears and bladed ones. It could go into the inventory of the attacked zomboid, or even if that is possible to add it like it is sometimes with zomboids that have sth attached to their body.
And blunt weapons could be randomly dropped during combat to balance out weapons.
And with skill with weapons this would slowly go away.
That would also make firearms more useful, as i don't see their usage except that they draw zomboids to the noise location.
