There will never be enough praise for a mod like this. I have been playing with this mod almost since I discovered PZ and it is truly something the vanilla game needs. It significantly adds to the immersion and my overall enjoyment of the game, so... thanks a lot. Can't imagine playing without it!

@Potato Gaming - The code for the next update is pretty much done. I just haven't published it yet as I'm waiting on the B42 Animation bug to be fixed. The plan is to make an "unstable" version of the Handwork mods that I can do development on that'll be B42+ only, released as a new mod page. That way I can make updates without affecting B41 servers. Once B42 goes full release and I'm ready for a stable release, it'll be updated here too.
To your second point, there also will be an API that I've created available for modders to use to add conditional animations and stuff. I plan on merging that into the Community Mod (if its approved), and it'll be bundled with B42's version of Fancy Handwork.

@oloolo1661 - It's not obsolete. There's still features from this mod that can be used in B42, such as the player interactions with doors, curtains, etc. (I call them "Boops")
There's also the "switch hand" feature, and some new animations that I plan on incorporating into this too.
@jimmy hoglet the world - Eh, that's pretty par for the course right now, I'll just let them slide. Though I do wish people would be patient, as B42 is still unstable and we're just coming off the Holidays.

Build 42 has changed a lot of aspects in regards to the animations, but this mod *mostly* works. Build 42 actually fixes item placement and rotation upstream, so that feature will be removed (this greatly helps with compatibility).

The new handgun + secondary aiming poses look GREAT with both True Crouch and True Crawl, EXCEPT when Aiming is below the (default) lvl 3, because then the left arm is totally janked up.

@O'shovah @[TP2] Albrekdt I looked at fixing compatibility with Fancy Handwork. Unfortunately, FH takes over the ISHotbar.equipItem method without letting other mods hook in. It might be a simple mistake because, in the code, it looks like they were trying to actually have compatibility with other mods.

There's nothing I can do on my end, but it might be a one-line fix on Fancy Handwork's end. Simply calling the unused `_ISHotbar_equipItem(self, item)` variable they have seems to do the right thing. I'm guessing there's a reason why they don't do it, but it might just be an oversight. You can try asking them.

Update— the mod cqc appears to have been the reason for the apparent freezes, however further testing seems the issue has fixed itself

Playing with brutal handwork also, but when a zombie lunges at me often times it freezes in place

Remove the Fancy Handwork Mod, the problem disappears
