as of 50.05 this mod (only this mod, default worldgen params) causes a crash on worldgen during the message "preparing graphics ... vanilla music." it hangs up at this point and sometimes windows will step in and let me close the program, otherwise i have to hard power cycle my computer bc it won't even let me run task manager lmao

Another one is the poorly highlighted forbid icon on items.
A whole pack of improved icons could be made. Replaced squad disband X with trash can, forbid icon bad highlight, any other poorly highlighted/indicated icons, etc.
Some of this stuff is so bad I don't know why anyone even thought to do it the way they did to begin with. Shouldnt have taken a UX expert to figure out.

YES!!!!! I soooo need this. It's nearly impossible for me to tell when a burrow is actually active or not with the base icons.

if you have the previous version you can just copy the png file from there into the new folder:
Steam\steamapps\common\Dwarf Fortress\data\installed_mods\Burrows_Activation_Button (101)
or if you dont have the last version, open the pdn file in the folder above and save it as png (I used paint.net)

the image file is now a pdn instead of a png, but the config files are still pointing to png file

The latest update (today) doesn't let me create worlds or load games. When the mod is removed, it works fine. Also, this mod worked fine yesterday.

Awesome idea, the implementation of the GUI is quite confusing in places.

This is a good idea. The original difference between on/off is almost indistinguishable.
