After a while of messing with the files I eventually got it to work, this works for solo and co-op. I also recommend the RE2 Remake Hunk model. It's done by the same guy and works better in my opinion. HOWEVER do NOT install Ghost Retribution. Even after getting the model to appear, the texture was completely broken and was just black and grey lines. It was also released by this developer and I was disappointed to see it so broken and unfinished.

Costumes do not drop in the world.
It can only be crafted in the crafting window.

Think it's only on char creation where you can choose clothes and you can craft it via tailoring, it takes shoe slot.
