God, I can't wait to punch giant gore holes into disgusting enemies of The One Path at extremely high velocity using the sacred Rail Rifle. 'Might actually, finally, do a run where I attempt to expand my ideology as far and wide as one can.
Either nicely, or not-so-nicely, depending.

Unless, of course, they want to fuck around and find out.

Or, maybe, my T'au will end up like La' Kais, and see humans as a cancer to be cleansed, unsuitable and unworthy to relish in the peace and splendor offered by The One Path.

I unironically enjoyed the Fire Warrior novel; it's a fun read.

iirc the way most(if not all) facial animation mods work is by replacing the head with one used by the mod, so xenotypes do work but without a custom patch for the head gene they will just have the head from facial animations. i'm no expert on this though since i've only briefly used them

Apologies, had the comments turned off somehow for Steam and forgot this existed, honestly. Had fun killing a month or two of weekends with Rimworld modding but don't have the time I did when making this to keep up. I'll keep an eye on 1.6 and 1.5 but I don't have any further content planned(just have some loose Necron stuff I never coded because it was beyond my ability after Vespids were proving tricky). I'll spare somebody else the busywork of updating this if/when something breaks just in case nobody ever makes a suitable replacement.

If as well somebody wanted to redo the art, code, or use all of it for whatever purpose themselves go ahead, this was mostly a fun little timewaster. Also try it yourselves sometime, modding is (sometimes) fun.

Nice mod, if you like crazy OP stuff that takes away all the fun. With a little more balance on some of the guns and clothing, this might be worth re-installing again.

Female Tau for me in char editor can't get the right head, other mods may be breaking it but i'm not sure.

I've not seen them in game however I expect for them to be headless.

I absolutely recommend trying it, it's very fun. I just wish it didn't conflict with so many weapon and armor mods.

A great addition to this mod would be a Warcasket frame from Factions Expanded: Pirates that looks like a Crisis Battlesuit; great mod regardless though.:steamthumbsup:

the kroot head is incompatible with facial animation, they just turn into green humans, idk if this can be patched on your end, but I though it was worth bringing to your attention

@Nimn I couldn't agree more. This take on a faction mod is exactly what I want. A separate contained faction where to get their stuff I need to take it. I can't do the random 3 tier research the modder added that doesn't make sense.

Of all the WH40K mods out there, this one needs front page. No pressure, but please make damn near every other faction out there cause this way of implementing the factions trumps each and every other mod out there. No cluttering, no real restrictions on needing someone to make or research, no overly complex trees or chains, and the cream of the cake, the sounds and graphics aren't vanilla sounds on a modded gun. Truly a unique mod with the potential to easily become a great mod and series if you find the motivation. Sorry for the rant. I know it may seem silly, but i rarely find a mod that is so well done without being overdone.

added ethereal honor blade to stop ethereals from spawning with no weapon

I'm using the Stuffable Armor and Clothes mod, and the color of the tau outfit is espresso If you use steel for the armor, the color comes out too dark

I wish the weapon sound was a bit lower I can't hear anything else The shooting sound is really good I think you need to modify the developer mode Pawn tag It was hard to find I wish the sound of the gun was about the size of a zardoz armory weapon I don't think it'll be good if it's too small I am using a translator, so the sentence may be awkward

This looks super cool. I love the idea of integrating it with the DLC although you're probably severely limiting the number of people that'll be able to run it. If you've got the patience for it you could make a non-DLC dependent version as a separate mod (although I'd understand if that was too much of a hassle). Good job, though!
