I won't have time to update this anymore. If you want to make a mod that adds that feature I'll link it on this page so others can find it.

Any chance of adding the Drone miners and utility miners to the "do not deplete" list?

Just a brief note that this one does seem to still be working, though the game thinks that it is an incompatible version when loading.

I can understand that completely. it was just a hope. i figured it might be something you could do, since the way you edited the rare miner in this mod didnt just reduce the consumption to 0, it removed the ability for it to be placed on any other node other than the vanilla 4 rare ones. so i just "assumed" that it would be something easier to adjust on your side. thank you for the responce :)

Sorry the Expanded Arsenal mod changes so many files you would have to just make another version of that mod where the miners don't consume the rare ores. I don't know any way to use two mods that both modify the same file (like the file that controls miner behavior)

So your best bet is to ask the Expanded Arsenal developer if they want to make a special version of it.

i realize this isnt a problem with the mod exactly, but is there a way you can add the ores from Expanded Arsenal to this, or make a new mod that has it as well?

this mod works great for the base game rare metals, but it doesnt allow the rare mines to be placed on the modded ores anymore
Tidgem Mar 7, 2023 @ 8:08am
Doesn't work for rare metals so far.

It was conflicting with another mod : Storage is Optional.
Now that I've disabled it, it works well.
Cheers !

No worries thanks for letting me know

Yeah no I've figured it out, it's just a typical mod conflict problem. I had a mod that had its own ironium factory files and it was conflicting. Went in and took those files out of that mod and I haven't had a problem since. Sorry about the back and forth
Prontius  [author] Jan 27, 2023 @ 9:10am
Thanks Shroomy! I tried to re-create this problem but it still worked for me after disabling a mod. I added a note about this to the description above since it seems a bit random.
Shroomy Jan 27, 2023 @ 3:22am
I noticed comments asking about the mod not working when enabling/disabling mods or so, and from what I've figured out, certain miners may go back to vanilla when disabling mods. Had this issue myself, if I disabled any mods it made my ironium mines go back to vanilla. Resubscribing to this seems to be the only way to fix that. Not sure if that's patchable but just keep in mind if you're using this mod and disable any others, resub to this one.

only carbon and iron gets depleted...the rare ones are fine.....i tried a little bit with anabling and disabling my mods but the only thing that worked was reinstall the mod
Prontius  [author] Jan 21, 2023 @ 2:35am
Jack of Blades are you sure the mod is still enabled? At the main menu go to "Mods" and click the left tab to check the mods you installed.

I hadn't played the game in a while but I just tested it now and it's still working for me. Do all the miners consume ore or just certain ones? Try disabling any other mods that might change the behavior of the miners.

Also you shouldn't have to do this, but try deleting a miner that's consuming ore and rebuilding it to see if that fixes it.
Jack of Blades Jan 20, 2023 @ 2:15pm
ok i tried this and another infinite miner mod but like the other one i have the problem then i load the game its all back to normal and it consumes the ores...does any1 have the same prob?
Draygo Dec 12, 2022 @ 3:37am
When it IS working it doesn't show it using ore at all; it just shows it producing the actual material. When not working it shows the proper amounts for both.
Prontius  [author] Dec 12, 2022 @ 2:09am
Very weird yeah. When it's not working do the descriptions of the miners look like the one in the picture above? With -0/sec ore consumption?
Draygo Dec 11, 2022 @ 10:12pm
Even odder is it doesn't work with other mods off..except when it does. And then sometimes works with all mods on anyway. I have no idea what's interfering
Prontius  [author] Dec 11, 2022 @ 12:43am
Hi Draygo. That's weird. Would you have time to test with all other mods disabled? If you go to the main menu and click Mods, click the left tab at the top you can uncheck your mods and hit apply to restart. Then you can easily re-enable them in the same menu after.
Draygo Dec 10, 2022 @ 10:32pm
Hrmn, it isn't working for me sadly, and I don't have any mods that change powerplants or ore structures...
Kaiserkane Dec 7, 2022 @ 1:44am
Ah that makes sense ;)
Prontius  [author] Dec 6, 2022 @ 10:48pm
Good question. For me I just want to be able to click on "Brutal" and have it use all the brutal settings except for limited resources
Kaiserkane Dec 6, 2022 @ 6:07pm
I'm curious, now that you can set custom difficulties and set resources to be infinite in game, what's the point in unlimited miners? Have I missed something?
