I think it might help with the Romano-British faction dilemma (no troops but income, vs troops but debt)

Possible for an alternative version without unit reduction + longer build and recruitment times? The other 12 tpy mod out there doesnt mix well with Imperium Surrecum.

hey bro with your mod you don't actually have to remove the ris_campaign_script to make the 12 turns per year script work. You can just copy and paste the entire 12 turns per year script into the bottom of the ris_campaign_script file. Keeping both the campaign script and a working 12 turns per year script added to that. It's a bit tedious to do since the 12 turns per year script is so long but it works, just make sure you removed the "end_script" line that was above the 12 turns per year script and make sure its only at the bottom of the script and will work like a charm, cheers bro

just wanna say, may need some adjusting on the upkeep values, because 10 years + in certain factions like ptolemy, seleucids, Carthage, and rome get major doomstacks. talking like 5-8 fullstack armies lol

so far done a 130ish turn campaign as bosporus, and the enemy sure makes good use of that reduced upkeep to make massive armies, It's fun but a damn slog to kill of hordes of horse archers, and i've seen around 12 full stack armies dancing around in Seleucid territory on my border.

I figured out how to make both mods work. before i would place unit card mod above RIS, and this caused crash. Soon as i started activating unit card mod Last After RIs. It worked perfectly! BTW really loving the balance, so far, enemy is putting up stiff fight at even just 4 years in :)

Mosesjns - I use that mod myself, and have yet to crash, myself. I am not sure if that's what is doing it.

Also about all unit costs, how I set them was 10% of the cost was the unit cost, and I just scrolled through changing numbers not looking at names, although with generals I tried to scale the savings since they were already much cheaper to upkeep than regular troops.

Just wanna say after playing my first 12 turns. LOVE just love this mod. Much more relaxing and allows me to RP my Generals a lot more. So thanks once again. The unit upkeep changes are great too not to cheap and not too expensive. Altho, i did notice the asian skirmishers are more expensive than the spearmen, its like that even in vanilla RIS, not sure why they made skirmishers more expensive than line infantry.

Great mod sadly crashes when ran with https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2880491303 It says due to " failed building rendering opida gatehouse_crash" Even tho that mod is just UI folder with unit cards, no edits to any buildings or any of the files in your mod. Still great mod

Thank you for this mod! So far it is working for unit upkeep on a save I will have to check further into it an see if the turns per year changed on the save as well (to bad the remaster didn't include the 40 unit army campaigns from atilla and rome 2 this would have been perfect together)

Good question, I legit bought this game, to get RIS and then used my rtw modding knowledge to do this as these two things were the constant knocks/asks for the mod. so I did it, then started my first game. Sorry i'm not more help on that.
