@Fearless to fix that issue go to your steam directory, navigate to SteamApps\workshop\content\108600\2875848298\mods\CommonSense\42.0\media\lua\client\ISUI\Overrides and delete all the files in that folder. (I had the same problem and found that solution on reddit)
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Oct 30 @ 12:14pm
I would contact the author of that mod, unless the error is directly from errorMag failing I can't help with other mods errors. 👍

This is the error I am getting with the common sense mod not sure if its the same for everyone though..btw continuation of error log is in the next comment of this post couldn't fit it
Vroooooooooooooooom Oct 29 @ 6:45pm
it would appear to be a problem with the common sense mod or patches by braven. I had to unsubscribe from them and it went away. I resibscribed to them after enabling error magnifier and it seemed to fix the issue. so it might just be a load order issue.
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Oct 29 @ 6:02pm
Can you share the error?
Vroooooooooooooooom Oct 29 @ 5:40pm
even after i disable the 2 mods, when i load a new save there is still the red box counting up. idk hopw that works. (sorry for making 3 separate messages. im an idiot)
Vroooooooooooooooom Oct 29 @ 5:38pm
and the mod update and alert system also
Vroooooooooooooooom Oct 29 @ 5:38pm
this is the only mod i have enabled and i just get errors constantly counting up. when i hit the little button it doesnt have any errors, but i see the number rapidly counting
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Oct 26 @ 10:18am
The button always appears in debug mode. If there's no errors there's nothing to show.
🌴retro(レトロ)🌴 Oct 25 @ 4:55pm
@Cornbread same ♥♥♥♥
Sibuscus Oct 16 @ 11:28pm
Just an update, turns out I wasnt getting any errors, so thats why I didnt get it. This works fine on 42.12.1. I finally got an exception yesterday and this worked, although it didnt really point out anything specific or which mod caused it.
Cornbread Oct 16 @ 3:21pm
It's so weird. It worked like a charm literally yesterday, thank you so much by the way.

I've made no mod/game settings changes and now when I click the magnifying glass (running in Debug mode) nothing happens. I resubscribed, started without it to verify, then restarted and it still doesn't open when I pull errors. Really weird.
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Oct 16 @ 9:56am
Are you sure it's enabled?
MegaZillaDestroyer12 Oct 16 @ 9:12am
so i get a mountain of errors (5000) and the error magnifying button doesnt.. appear
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Oct 16 @ 7:20am
The UI should only appear when an error occurs OR always be present if in debug mode.

If you're not in debug mode and the UI is there - and nothing happens then you should see an error in the log with the UI specifically.

If you see neither - then I'm not able to tell you what's going on.
Sibuscus Oct 15 @ 6:28pm
I have tried both normal and debug mod, I get the icon on the bottom right, when I click it nothing happens, but I dont get any errors in the console.txt. I use this collection
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Oct 15 @ 8:41am
Are you on debug mode?
Sibuscus Oct 15 @ 5:16am
I have the icon on the bottom right, but when I click it, nothing happens, and If I right click it, it disappears. The console.tzxt has no exceptions or major errors.
TheNuclearDoggo Oct 11 @ 4:40am
@Yoko were you able to solve your issue? I can't seem to get past the world loading before a qtd hits me literally every time
Yoko Oct 8 @ 2:52pm
heeeeeeeeeya im back again! currently having a error issue where i legit cannot play B42 with mods what so ever, i now installed and enabled this mod but idk how to check the errors im getting on the main main menu not the loading menu, what button opens the magnifier? i remember the mod has a small window on the bottom right you click and you see the errors but at this point i dont remember if thats only INGAME or on the main menu too, please help
X_Rinzu_X Oct 4 @ 10:55am
@Yoko i have that same issue idk what crush my game, and if i want check every mode one by one which one is that, I don't want to play anymore at this point
Yoko Oct 3 @ 10:56am
usefull as ♥♥♥♥ but also useless as all hell for my issue ;-; tryna use Week one and i get a Unexpect error on loading

this mod just wont let me see what hte error is

i get notified i get 5 errors when loading in but i cant check them cus ERROR MAGNIFIER doesnt let you open it on that screen and the consol.txt includes nothing usefull
Alkanshel Sep 27 @ 8:07pm
It was always on with my previous server so I was confused. It also says it in the mod description. Sorry for being blind.
Alkanshel Sep 27 @ 8:06pm
Nevermind, read the comments. I guess it only pops up if I have errors.
Alkanshel Sep 27 @ 7:28pm
My magnifier seems to have disappeared. Is it possible to accidentally disable it or do I have a conflicting mod?

After update to 42.12, get low fps(less 10 fps) while active this mod.

@Chuckleberry Finn That's a relief. Thank you. :steamhappy:
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Sep 14 @ 4:22am
Those are not anything to be worried about and don't count as actual errors.

You should search for "stack trace" after the errors occur.
JENOVA Absolute Sep 13 @ 8:08pm
I got two errors in-game during my latest mod testing. Clicking the magnifier button to see what mods the errors are related to brought nothing up either time.

I checked the console.txt for anything of note. The only thing I found was dozens of lines spamming `mods isn't a valid workshop item ID`. That isn't anything like what I normally find when I have mod related errors.
Eskimo Sep 7 @ 12:28pm
It was all my fault. I thought the bandits mod and the week one mod were truly b42 compatible.
Eskimo Sep 7 @ 12:56am
it didn't allow me to post here so I created a thread in discussions

I fixed my problem by teleporting out so everything's working correctly now

thank you
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Sep 6 @ 4:59pm
I would need to see the error you got during the crash, could this be the error you were trying to see?
Eskimo Sep 6 @ 4:52pm
the crash happened when I tried to click on the error magnifier icons for an error from the "extra traits" mod or something... I installed this mod to see the error details but all I got was the crash and when I loaded the game, I was stuck forever
Eskimo Sep 6 @ 4:50pm
it caused a big crash with RV interior mod and I was never able to leave the interior again, the run is ruined unless I use cheats now
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Sep 5 @ 4:37pm
This mod would not help for crashes, you'd have to check the console log.
KhanTheMad Sep 5 @ 4:16pm
i think i rlightclicked to hide the dialog tab
KhanTheMad Sep 5 @ 2:06pm
well my game is crashing to main menu and i can not pull up the tab to see which mod is causing it, i feel like im missing something basic here
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Sep 5 @ 1:42pm
It only shows up when errors occur.
KhanTheMad Sep 5 @ 8:35am
how do i re-enable the error tab in the bottom right to view which mods are causing errors, closed it somehow and it will not appear on restarting the game or reinstalling the mod
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Aug 13 @ 6:50am
There isn't one, you should check the console directory.
Chuckleberry Finn  [author] Aug 1 @ 4:55am
This mod just takes the game's internal error list and displays it - with some 'cleaning up' of said errors.

9/10 the error do say the modID, filename, and even line number at the top.

Unfortunately some errors stem from misused vanilla variables/features which means the game traces it back to itself/java code. In these cases the error may say something like 'invalid assertion' and won't include a mod ID.

So, unfortunately no.
Ryan Aug 1 @ 12:41am
@Chuckleberry Finn I noticed sometimes it's difficult to find which mod is throwing the error as all the mods don't show the name. Would it be possible to somehow make this mod so it also shows the mod name as title/ maybe path or some other identifiable way?
