It was actually. I just forgot to upload it.
I agree a year or two is way too long. 3O sounds reasonable to me.
honestly it's for balance. Imagine if it's 10 days as a base. that's 5 cycles of infection. so in 50 days you have 32 unkillable hyper healing powerful super pawn. Don't get me wrong I'm about to install this mod but ya it's really broken if too fast.
I used to actually, but I think the description in the settings menu was confusing people.
I guess I could revisit it, but I'd have to figure out how to summarize the settings menu so it isn't incomprehensible to non-programmers. :D
Right now it applies to both, so you can reapply sanguophage genes in the exact same amount of time.
The duration is changed when the health condition is applied, so it won't do anything if a character already has it from before the mod was installed.
You can however enable dev-mode. Click the god-mode head in the middle top, and then just remove the health condition that way.
I pushed a small update just now which changed where it runs the fix. It should catch both when the Hediff is applied normally and when there is an override now as long as it isn't another mod overriding my change.
Give it another try. :)
Thank you for the mod.
Makes sense. If I get enough requests for it I'll look into giving the mod a config window so you can pick the length and such.
I haven't really looked into how to setup the config UI for a mod, but if enough people think the time is too short/too long I can certainly look at it.
