Glad you like it, though i heavily suggest just using it inside SUI version, as its balanced and with a great look there... the old mods will be unlisted in a few weeks

This feels a tiny bit too strong, i think this could be a realy nicely balanced by limiting it to 1 per city or even making it a special roman district with upkeep costs and choosable buildings that unlock the bonuses, but you kindof have to choose depending on its location :) Just my take on it, but i love it so far :)

Same with Patricida. "I've noticed that Roman Villa is not compatible with Capture Unique Improvements mod - when I conquer a city with a villa, it lose its model and begins to appear as a red exlamation marks."

@MarsEco Thank you, everything is open for future changes so we will see
Mikecro  [author] Jan 30, 2023 @ 12:26pm
@Patricida Capture Unique Improvements itself is no longer maintained, i might check, but dont have high hopes. Its not the same, but as a substitution try Civilization Conquer Mode instead

Well free monuments are actually quite strong, in most civ player's opinions.

Currently, I always have JRN's Unique Improvement: Castrum (Rome) turned on in my mods. It adds a model for the Roman Fort, that also improves it, by giving it a base +1 Housing & +1 Production, in addition, it gets +1 Culture per Level of Walls the city has.

I guess I would say the main issue with yours is actually the adjacency to so many districts factor. It's similar to Nubia's Pyramids. If you have to utilize adjacency from districts to a unique improvement, you give up the minor adjacency to within having districts clumped. Which has cards to double those yields in all cased, where as with the improvements less so. Same could be said with farm triangles.

I think you have a similar theme as the the Khmer's ability with farms near Aqueducts and Holy Sites. Except you focus on adj with 3 different Districts, at least 3 different improvements, Luxuries, AND Woods. I would narrow it down.
Mikecro  [author] Jan 29, 2023 @ 5:15pm
I acknowledge its noisy, but it cannot be adjacent to lots of things at once, so it kinda cancels it out. Focus is on food and culture (they gradually increase) while production and gold are historic/side bonuses. Plus Rome isn't strong when compared to GS civs, let alone NFP civs. It may get revisited tho
MarsEco Jan 27, 2023 @ 11:25am
As a content developer, I will note, this improvement is rather "noisy". Lacks focus in terms city planning placement and yields, outside of just being a better improvement all around and the theme of the building. Wanted to like it though.

@juraj.sebej Thanks a lot. Also thanks for your proposition, however, governors in 1 turn would be s bit unbalanced
@H.Humpel, thank you guys a lot

Hi Mikecro,
your mod has been translated into German and the translation is now part of the German translations for Civilization VI mods mod pack.
We would be more than happy if you could refer to the language translation in your mod description.
juraj.sebej Dec 9, 2022 @ 10:40am
Lovely mode :) What about adding some unique flavor. "If adjacent to city center governors establish in just 1 turn." Or something similar.
Mikecro  [author] Dec 4, 2022 @ 6:11am
Thanks! Making icons is a hard part but i tried to fit them with in-game ones by using same color as in-game ones
Patricida Dec 4, 2022 @ 2:04am
Man I love mods that add interesting features to classical civilizations - thank you! :yawp:
It's almost perfect. I would only change villa's icon to better match other ingame icons, but in general it doesn't break good experience with the feature.

Thank you for your support
Doc_Furtado Dec 1, 2022 @ 3:21pm
Wonderful, always
Mikecro  [author] Dec 1, 2022 @ 10:56am
Improvement wont be added to JFD's Italy until further notice - technical difficulties
@cozmicclockwork It wasnt civ 5 skin problem, i set the assets to not get clipped at all, its fixed now. Thank you
Update: assets are now following hills
cozmicclockwork Nov 30, 2022 @ 11:43pm
really liking the mod so far, just so you know on my end placing villas on hills causes the model to sink into the ground. The only thing I can think that might be affecting it is the civ V environment skin.
Mikecro  [author] Nov 29, 2022 @ 10:04am
Will be added in following days
Spartak Nov 28, 2022 @ 4:45pm

_ALuX_ Nov 26, 2022 @ 8:46am
