@stompiedepompie, check the original mod link for some more detailed info, aswell as the comments on this one as i had explained a few possible issues that can cause it to fail and also cause stutter in the game in some cases
stompiedepompie Jul 23, 2024 @ 10:44am
it's not working for me , and i can't find instructions on how to do it anywhere, can i get some help?
Veythara Jul 6, 2024 @ 4:18am
@haru, not a bug, the original mod explains that scenario. you have to exclude the area around the hospital beds for that reason
haru Jul 6, 2024 @ 4:03am
Just noticed a bug:
When you try to implant some bionic at a pawn the Teleporter removes the item during implanation or while the doctor is getting the remaining parts

My game now stutters like crazy since the update yesterday, baring in mind I'm still playing 1.4 version as its heavily modded (some mods not updated yet) but yea if I turn my hauler off stuttering goes away, if I reduce the hauling check modifier it seems to only stutter on the hauling check. is there a way for me to roll this mod back to 1.4 manually as it was running perfectly before?
Tye-Wynd Apr 26, 2024 @ 12:37pm
Steam still thinks it's 1.4 only
CES Apr 20, 2024 @ 1:03pm
It's working on 1.5
Fixter Apr 20, 2024 @ 10:06am
god i hope someone updates this mod or continues it

@albino_husky, forbidden items, invalid destinations and similar things can cause issues, as the haul teleporter will continuously try to teleport them. it is better not to use it if you are using deep storage mods. theoretically speaking, the mod isnt even updated for the shelves added in 1.4. the mod searches for valid cells to transfer the item to, so it struggles with cells that already contain a stack of said item (even more so if the container covers multiple cells)
albino_husky Jun 19, 2023 @ 10:36am
this made my world unplayable it was so laggy
Veythara Jan 9, 2023 @ 10:29am
it is noted in the original mod link but i can see how people would not check that
Chip56 Jan 9, 2023 @ 10:09am
Thanks for that note about the HT area. That helps. Maybe that should be noted in the description of the teleporter ingame too so that its easier to find?
Mads Jan 8, 2023 @ 8:18am
@Chip56 the way I get around that is to make a zone that covers all the map named HT, it will then only haul from that zone, simply clear the one tile next to the hospitalbed where the medicine or bionics is placed and it will not take it away. this is a way to solve it that is also sometimes useful with some workbench recipies, so one just remove the HT area where the pawn puts down things for use at the bench and the teleporter dont take it away, I think it happens because technically the pawn goes to do another job when doing the surgery or getting new items, making the ones already in position not "locked" to a task and so the teleporter takes it away... that was a ramble sorry :steamfacepalm:
Veythara Jan 8, 2023 @ 8:18am
easiest way to set that up would be to create the zone, select the forbidden areas and then invert
Veythara Jan 8, 2023 @ 8:17am
create an allowed zone called "HT" and exclude the areas in which it is not supposed to work.
everything that is in that allowed zone will be affected by the haul teleporter
Chip56 Jan 8, 2023 @ 8:08am
I found one issue with the teleporter and it would be really nice if that could be fixed: Its hauling away the items used for a surgery, which means the surgery keeps getting interrupted unless you deactivate the teleporter first.
Veythara Dec 11, 2022 @ 2:34pm
@Grimmie Pie, instead of asking that, you can try it. but to answer the question: it will haul into any >available stockpile cells<.

note the emphasis on available stockpile cells. this mean that containers that stack items on one cell might cause issues, causing the teleporter to get stuck in a loop of tossing an unlogged error until the issue is cleared. i recommend using a regular stockpile zone as intermediary to help with it for a bit.

if you want a storage that pulls any haulables into itself for others to pick up, i'd recommend the Item Teleporter mod instead until that issue gets fixed.

regardless of the issues at hand though, this mod works fine mostly and is more than usable
Grimmie Pie Dec 11, 2022 @ 2:24pm
Does it haul into shelves?
Meyar Nov 27, 2022 @ 9:16am
Quick addendum: I am using stack mods and multi-tile storage mods. I'm currently on two different colony maps, but the map with the teleporter on it has any multi-tile storage bins marked as HT. Does this work with rock chunks and such?
Meyar Nov 27, 2022 @ 9:06am
Doesn't appear to be working. Is there a list of incompatible mods somewhere I could peruse?
