Ive been having the wasp problem for ages aswell. have been using dev mode to delete them as i find them, but its getting tiresome. Finally decided to look into it and its actually kinda nice to see other people having this problem too. I even tried to downright remove them from the game via cherry picker but the game seems to insist on keeping them in.

how do i recharge a crashed drone? i cant give it a battery via surgery or anything. im not even sure if they recharge from food like the description says since i cant get them to eat. the only thing i can think of is to put a solar panel coat on them, take them outside and wait until they are minimally charged so they can take the battery themselves

This mod seems to be having issues with summoning drone wasps in Odyssey.
Here's the log:

Nop. It seems to be this mod. Everithing works fine excepts for the wasps. Maybe the mod has patched something wrong in them. Its seems to always return a "null" wasp

Same as SUN-Control. Does the drone wasp appear dead? It tries to generate the wasp, but it always appears dead, until the limit of attempts is reached, which causes a lot of delay.

I have tried to reproduce the error in Dev Quicktest. It seems that it has nothing to do with the trap. It is when the drone appears. Testing with mods, I think it could be an incompatibility with another mod.

If I discover anything, I will post it here.

1.6 will be the last updated version for the base androids mod, as i plan to rewrite the mod. Check the pinned discussion in the base mod for more details for the planned rewrite and comment what features you want to see kept or added

Anyone else having an issue with starting scenarios not allowing android colonists? No amount of tinkering has gotten anything other than baseline humans with androids selected.

Found the issue, I didn't have any batteries in my colony (all geothermal so never had any need for batteries since eclipses don't do anything and there's nothing to protect against solar flares so I just turned those off)

How do I get my pawns to actually install the extra batteries when they've gone down and are in the hospital? There's no option what so ever and administering a repair kit does nothing. I have 20 batteries available and accessible yet none of my pawns (including my medic pawns) have any option to recharge them. They all just die for no good reason regardless of what I try

Interesting bug/exploit: if you have a Drone Printer waiting to receive materials, and then you relocate the drone printer, it will begin printing without spending any materials.

looks like at least the war droids can get metal horror infections. easy enough fix is to use dev mode to force an emergence but you cant even surgically inspect them so you might want to do something about that

there seems to be a problem with big and small framework causing the worker droids to have an invisible body based on my testing, in case anyone else was having a similar problem

@BRSaura so far the droids in correctly if only this mod, its required mods, and dlc are loaded so I assume its some kind of mod conflict going on.

Failed to find any textures at Things/AdvancedDroid/ while constructing Multi(initPath=Things/AdvancedDroid/, color=RGBA(0.941, 0.941, 0.941, 1.000), colorTwo=RGBA(0.000, 0.000, 0.000, 0.000))

Missing textures? Already resubbed and still the same, didn't thange any mods and happens these past few days

@BurningSoul They grab electricity from batteries when avaible, if there isn't, you can make them a chem generator belt or a solar panel duster (both in the research category of the bots) if they get to low battery you can craft droid batteries wich are consumables

Finally figured it out. The lack of a color mask for drones is causing the issue for some reason. Adding a black texture as a mask for each drone fixes the problem.

Any reason why when drafting my droids, the game slows completely down when they're sitting still? My FPS drops to 5 or so. When moving them, it picks up to 12 fps. When undrafting them, im around 28 fps. The more I draft though, the slower the game becomes and when giving no orders while drafted, the FBS drops to 5 and below. Is there any mods that this is not compat with?

Kinda wished that worker droids spawned with your ideology so that they can construct ideology themed items instead of base ones. (I know character editor and all that exists but still)

Is there going to be an fix for compatibility with save our ships 2. in previous updates droids wouldn't get decompression and they walked at normal speed however with the new save our ships 2 update it seems droids walk super slow in space and get decompression and must wear eva suits?

My 'Engineer droid' has a recreation need, is unhappy we don't have a leader in our ideo and he's also leaning towards liking other boys (4/6 on the kinsey scale using Psychology). Honestly, it's pretty funny.

He's like a little boxy person of his own. I would almost prefer him to have hair (he does not).
