Need that 1.5 please, hate the way the locks 1 mod works, the original locks doesn't have filters for prisoners, only slaves

Hopefully the fork gets updated. I've always preferred it over the original Locks mod.

I used to play, and about to get back into it, and the one I used to use was Locks by Avius. But now I'm worried :S

Such a shame how a mod I can't play without with is now abandoned. How the hell am I now supposed to not have these little shit animals walk all over my house. And this mod only makes it worse because they all ignore the filters set to not allow animals. Making keeping animals literally impossible.

The mod is broken, I Uncheck "Allow Animals" and the animals still going through the door!

Yeah this mod is broken. I guess it's just impossible to find a functional locks mod. Pen animals won't go through doors that should allow pen animals to pass, and if you manually set them to allow pen animals (i.e. uncheck disallow pen animals) pen animals can just walk through every single door ever unless you fully uncheck "allow animals" on every single door you wish to forbid. Which I imagine breaks the doors for all area-restricted animals. RIP my dream of locking doors.

Use Rimpy's downloader to aquire it, as sometimes mods don't like to show up if they haven't been updated in a while.

love this mod so far only problem is that my pen animals keep going out of the pen and eating all my crops, so i have to remove it until its fixed :(

after some testing i found Velcroboy's Japanese Revival seems to break locks 2 causing all doors even mod doors to lose the access button. the only one that still has the button with the mod on is the one added by the mod.

does not work if the bed in the bedroom is
a double bed and there is
only one user.

my animal handlers spend all of their time roping animals from their sleeping spots to the animal pen after I added an unlocked door to it. can you make a patch for that?

For the love of all that is holy fix pen animals from claiming beds outside their pen. I'm sick of having to waste a chick that could have been a rooster cause he really wants in there.

Would it be possible to alter the location of the filter button options? I cannot add any additional filters when playing on the Steam Deck (the UI appears to go off screen toward the top).

Yup. I solve it by finding or throwing down a sleeping spot in the pen and assigning them to it. I recommend getting the mod Simple Animal Commands so you can make the animal walk itself back instead of wasting a colonist's time on dragging them back.

Having the same issue as Catch Lighting below, animals just straight up ignore the Disallow Pen Animals setting if there's a sleeping spot on the other side that isn't claimed, and none on the pen side that are. In addition, I sometimes just randomly have animals walk out of the pen for no reason at all that I can see. Pen is enclosed, green highlight over the pen market, penned animal just walks out through the fence gate (not held open, the animal literally opens it). No errors I can find in the logs about it, either.

Harry, ask RimFactory developer to fix his patch cause he's hardcoded it.
There's more than one "Allows" method, and he's not defined proper arguments for patch.

I keep having an issue where ducklings don't respect the no pen animals doors. I think they are trying to claim indoor animal sleeping spots. As it stands I either have to rope them in or give them a decapitation for shitting on my floor depending on how far they got.

The animals filter does not work well, which happened to the original too. I am unable to allow access to my dogs.

Yeah I've tried tinkering with any mods of mine that touch prisoners, but as far as I can tell, the prisoner filter doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas?
