Could we please have an update for Rimworld 1.5
I have not tried this mod yet - looking forward to 1.5 before I start a new game with my own pocket mancave.

I'm sure they could if you put them there, but there's no AI to make pawns go to or from the dimension by themselves.
If you try to hide your entire colony in there, though, raiders may have a chance of destroying the box from the outside, which would be a funny way to end a run.

In the original mod, power would transfer between dimensions. This doesn't seem to be working in this version. Is that a known issue? Modding is hard, so fair enough if you couldn't get it to work.

Alright will do, seems like it's actually from biomes! caverns, same creator from "Biomes! Caveworld Flora Unleashed" is also there and i don't have that other mod so :p

@Enrico 1.5 now has support for maps without a corresponding world tile, so in theory this should be easier but would probably need a rewrite, so if your mod can use the base 1.5 functions maybe this wouldn't be needed. Useful to look into.

@Agusfer Try posting that for "Biomes! Caveworld Flora Unleashed" mod page, also you can use Gist or Pastebin to upload the logs. But that stack trace seems to explain it all more or less.

I tried uploading logs like usual but i got an error that won't let me, HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized.
No idea what happened, i could upload them just fine months ago lol oh well.

I'm getting this message spammed on my log when i create a pocket dimension, guess it's related to a mod that adds cave fungus, maybe vanilla expanded or biomes!

I was wondering about that! One of the descriptions for Anomaly was 'sending a colonist to an endless grey maze', and I thought that it's probably a new map encounter thing they get put in and have to find their way out or do something, and I thought that they'd probably allow world map-less maps for it!

Please update! I'm working on a mod that uses this mod as a base, and I'm afraid I won't be able to publish my mod thanks to the 1.5 update breaking this one. :steamsad:

The game crashes when you place the entrance for a pocket dimension inside of said dimension, but only for some map sizes. Very specific issue, but thought i'd post it

so I found a huge issue. Power only ever go out of one not into one. and never goes more then 1 out. So if I have 1 making power and it is connected to 3 others they will not get power but it does allow you to power one it's inside of however will not allow you to power something outside of the first one.

im having issue with temperature transfer when i open the vent thing only the outside of the pocket dimension cools or heats to the outside temp, but never the inside like the pocket dimension walls are super insulation

Love this mod. I built a small Dubs Rimatomics Reactor inside one once, and took it everywhere with me. Even included an apartment for my primary colonist next to the reactor control, as well as a freezer and hydroponics. Didn't even have to worry about water, as the generated map stayed the same no matter where I put the bugger, so my reactor always had coolant. Screenshot is in my profile for proof. XD

Never go anywhere without a good ol' fashioned PD!

Oh and just one more thing to say, this mod and Pawnmorpher together have a bit of an issue. Fully morphed colonists can enter and exit the pocket dimensions just fine, but you have to be extra careful to not click on a button that hauls the colonist you have selected. Otherwise your pawn will try to haul themselves outside of the pocket, which completely freezes the game and requires a reload.

Super happy this mod has an updated version now, it's such a cool concept and the time I spent using it was very memorable! Last playthrough with this mod I accidentally started eugenic slave breeding inside one of the pockets before the save bricked due to my barely-compatible modlist. I can't wait to try this out again, really thank you (:

Ok 2 questions is it save to add mid save i mean i like the mod yes but my colonie has planes and stuff and can i place dirt in it so i can put my drug pruduction to not where the childs are

Something I haven't been able to put my finger on. do events happen inside the pocket? I'm specifically wondering how much protection from ZZZT I need, if any. I did notice that things break down and need components, but thats not a letter event.

HRG164hjo has made a patch that seems to address the issue with destroying walls and exits by giving them infinite hit points and removing the deconstruct option.

destroying the walls destroys the pocket dimension with everything inside this also applies to destroying the actual container for the pocket dimension too just like the original good fork

I'm having trouble getting Mechanitor's mechanoids into the dimension. They show up in the loading UI, but they do not get hauled inside nor do they walk inside themselves. Is there a way to get my Mechs inside the pocket dimension? I was really amped to do a mechanitor run with this mod...

I've noticed that you can disassemble the internal walls of the box, or at least mark them to BE disassembled. I don't know what effect this would actually have. Would I destroy the box? Expand the available space?
I'm afraid to try, and the original mod page doesn't seem to mention it.

If pocket dimension is on same place in the world map with enemies and I want to bomb those enemies with SRTS ships. Bombardment Map selection will be 100% in dimension.

@Sera I did try to make an SOS2 Pocket Dimension. It did not work out well. The ship's power blinks when I move the ship in any way, or play a new game. Which wouldn't be a problem, but the Pocket Dimension's power blinks too. When it does, the entire damn Dimension collapses.

So I had a thought. Has anyone tried to make it so a ship from SRTS and or Save our ship acts like the pocket dimension? Better ship more internal room and now you have the power to fly off if things get too bad. With this you could even make ships for attacking or medivac or you can go true blue pirate Flying around on your own space boat.

can we get more bigger size pocket dimension map?
with dubs bad hygiene, pipes in pocket dimensions map overlapped on main map bottom left.
(main map size 275x275, pocket dimension size 181x181[30])
doesn't aligned center to pocket dimension unit.

Thank you for updating a bunch of Captain Muscles mods! Do you think you could update Grab Your Tool by him? It's a super helpful mod since I always forget to change out what tools my pawns are using for different jobs.

One thing: when storing pollution and it dissolves inside the dimension, the nearby faction to the colony holding the pocket dimension gets mad at you. I don't this makes sense because... Aren't these dimensions not connected to anything? Why would some random faction knew you dumped pollution in a place where literally nobody cares. It doesn't affect them. Please fix.

This not working with Rimworld of Magic the way the 1.3 version did? It's not showing up on Portal research or architect menu.
