I agree with the idea of making a year-round variant, removing the snow and the Santa. It'd remove a lot of the original concept, but at least it wouldn't be considered "yet another wacky christmas thing on merc head".

yea an alt style which removes the christmas details would help this in the long run.

I think someone called this as the next tophat. It being a chimney.

So yeah you're gonna be getting a storm of backlash, but some have made alt styles to remove any christmas details.

That seems to be a middle ground.
