seems like it still works for me, we added it to our Day One mp world with like 450 mods and it didn't cause things to break in a disaster-ly fashion. Just gotta make sure your keybinds for all the gunfighter stuff aren't overlapped with anything else. Or if they are, it's something you're okay with. (for me, changing mag types via radial opens Evolving Traits World UI, though pressing the button myself doesn't which is odd)

[B41] got a bug where pressing R to reload guns with magazines broke the character actions.
I could still reload non-magazine guns such as shotguns but pistols and rifles just made the character stand still and unable to aim/ do actions until pressing ESC.
Manually trying to eject magazines also did not work. Uninstalling this mod fixed it.

To those asking for B42 - It sounds like Gunfighter/Brita's are currently broken on B42. Until those mods are updated, it's pointless to update this mod. After that I can probably get around to updating this.

Have issues with this mod. Everything I select opens multiple unrelated windows and it pauses the game. I also have to hold 'R' instead of just pressing it.

Duplicate ammo when you switch magazine type ? it's bugged ? I have Brita and Arsenal26 and modoption.

Hi, each time I press an option in the wheel, the game pause and show every UI windows that can be toggled on/off. Thoses have nothing binded in the option menu. Does the Key.ini have more binded keys ? I'm lost

No, they all need to be set, but make sure any keys you bind to a gunfighter function aren't also bound to other functions. Don't bind open map and change fire mode to F for example, or using change fire mode on the radial menu will do both.

you mean all gunfighter hotkeys have to be set to 'none'? cause i have the gun light on double press on the right bumper... with the default gunfighter keyboard binding, which is Rcontrol

@earlyaccesslover Sounds like some of your keyboard keys are double bound. Even though you're using a controller you want to make sure in the keyboard settings that the GunFighter hotkeys aren't also bound to other controls.

hi thanks for your great work. Please help tho, when playing on controller selecting any option from this mod causes all sorts of other windows to pop up, like gunfighter info, chat toolbox and the building menu, also goes into place item mode... please help... using 2.0 and that's the only one activated under mods

@LambChopSoldier There's not really any point to that. This mod just adds radial menu functions for Brita's.

Update: seems the issue happens when unbinding certain hotkeys (foraging mode, weapon info hot key, etc) giving those actions hotkey away from everything else APPEARS to solve the problem.

Update: it seems using the hotkey system instead of the radial menu added with this mod does NOT give me the same results. works flawlessly.

Seems folding a stock break the radial menu. tried it with a number of guns using gunfighter 2.0 as well as the most recent brita's. a few of the guns i tried were the ak-12 and the m14 ebr. folding the stock on either gun causes the ui to disappear. spamming esc brings the ui back but makes the radial menu unusable (doesnt show up, even when holding Q for that separate radial menu as well as the vehicle radial menu)

For some reason I can't turn CQB on. Every other button is working, however CQB won't turn on.

I reinstalled the game. Resubscribed to most of the mods. And the problem persisted, even with just gunfighter and brita. So I said screw it, I'll just play as is. Aaaand randomly today it started working right again.

I can't tell what changed or what I did different.

Well, neither Project Zomboid, GunFighter, Brita's, nor this mod have been updated in that time frame. So first do a test with only this mod and its required mods enabled and see if it still happens. It's more likely one of your other mods updated recently and is causing this, or introduced a new compatibility issue with this mod. You're going to have to do more testing on your end because I don't know what mods you're running.

Hey so since forever now, if you have one magazine, and it runs empty, if you hit R, the character ejects it, loads it with ammo from the inventory, then inserts it.

Since yesterday, this stopped working.

Now when I run out of bullets, I hit R, the character ejects the magazine and nothing else happens. If I press R again, it inserts the empty magazine back in (and says magazine empty).

I don't mind much, but this breaks survivors. They now remove and insert magazines over and over again.

Did I break something? Is this a setting I somehow overlooked? Please help.

I don't know how to ask for help on the gunfighter mod. Sorry for posting here.

@Maa22 Have you seen this in the description for the Weapon Modifiers mod description? It could be an issue with this setting or Brita's itself. If pressing the Brita hotkeys also causes this then it may just be an issue with Brita's that I can't do much about.

"BRITA'S WEAPON PACK (and other such mods)

Actions such as folding / unfolding stocks or changing magazine type is actually a recipe for crafting a new weapon, so it rerolls a modifier on the weapon. To avoid that : leave the sandbox setting "Chance Multiplier on Crafted Ranged Weapons" on 0, so the modifier is lost completely instead of rerolled."

Hi :] there is a conflict with Weapon Modifiers v1.1.3 MOD. Doing anything in radial menu removes weapon modifiers (replaces weapon with stock one) Is there any work around, please fix this :]

Could you also add function to reload all mag instead of just 1? it became annoy when u have multiple mag to hold and reload because someone only have few ammo in the mag like the .44 pistol with only 7 round mag

I try use "load all magazines" mod but the option only show if left click mag in inventory and not on this radial menu, maybe patch it to compatible with that one?

@retr0l0gy Do you have BOTH the "Arsenal(26) GunFighter" and "Arsenal(26) GunFighter [MAIN MOD 2.0]" mods enabled? If so, disable the one that ISN'T the [MAIN MOD 2.0] as that's the legacy version and they conflict.

i already tested that ages ago, not the case i dont think, i mean i dont think r is connected to my mechanics, pause button, other gunfighter functions etc, i even tested it, and no its not a mod conflict tested that too

That sounds like a keybindings issue. You probably have gunfighter hotkeys double bound to the same keys as these other functions.
