@krytoiartemiy they're not going to fix it, the name is kind of misleading - the change to 10 was intentional.
You can disable the mod mid-game and nothing will happen beyond getting reverted back to your original use delta of 10 charges per torch for any new torches you pickup. The old ones will still have the increased capacity until you refill them.
If you see the override but it's not working check your other mods installed, as I just re-tested it this morning on B42 and it changed the capacity to 100/2 for a recipe to cut 4 small metal sheets from one steel sheet.
A: They used to have the charges at 100, however they lowered it down to be 10 and with it lowered the required amount from recipes. However, Mod developers didn't update their stuff so some crafting was asking for more than 10 fuel, which was now impossible to do thus this mod is mainly for devs that abandoned their mod or people who aren't aware they did that, I saw a new mod come out that required 25 after the change and the creator was completely unaware it had been done.
@Bitbyte - Thanks! happy to be of service!
There are several mods out there that modify the same code/functionality and many do really cool stuff other than just change the uses. I don't have any plans to expand on functionality or work around those other mods with this one. But I do appreciate the concern and am thankful for all those that have used it over the years!
so chances are theres a conflict with every other mod that uses the same lines as that one.
the amount of quality mods in the workshop growing daily and your mod not being updated since 2022, the amount of incompatibilities will just grow..
hope you look into it sometime
wait..what for...
and this mod is last in the load order
Not stated in the description however is that the Sandbox options for Building Menu lets you change the capacity back to 100, as well as other lower values if you think it's too strong. This mod can be safely replaced unless you're looking for this change as a standalone.
its literally last in my load order, always has been, so it overwrites any possible conflict and it suddenly stopped working.
torches now have a use of 10 again
