"Found a small bug today: If you have rimfeller in the game and you remove it mid-playthrough, all existing tunnelers will not use the drills anymore. You have to disassemble and spawn them anew, then they will work again. Maybe this helps someone."
Tried what @Realitätsverlust did and it fixes them, so if anyone has any issues with getting them working due to some odd mod conflict it should fix them to revert to their "normal" behaviour

@moyuman works fine in .NET 4.72 too. I have no idea why it needs one offset more, but it works, lol.

Despite what those below are saying, this mod (specifically the harmony patch) doesn't work in version 1.5 and is causing issues with other mods, probably needs to be recompiled. I'll take a look at doing this now because it really sucks not being able to use tunnelers.

For all of you who are missing this mod just go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2882915775 , then enter About folder, open About.xml in notepad, and change the <li>1.4</li> line into <li>1.5</li>, should work

@Realitätsverlust - Removing any mod mid-save is highly discouraged exactly because it often causes bugs and other issues.

Ok so should be obvious (wasn't for me), not compatible with Many Jobs mod, which makes drilling its own separate job. If you want to use this mod with Many Jobs you can disable drilling as a separate job in Many Jobs' mod settings

Amazing mod, but it stopped working soon after I started using it. It worked completely fine then it randomly stopped allowing the tunnelers to deep drill although i didn’t change mods or anything.

If anyone else is having an issue with tunnelers not mining with this mod, check your mod settings for "mining priority" and make sure "restrict mining with yield to best miners" is unchecked.

I think i may have ran into an issue with Rimefeller? After adding it to the game, my Tunneler will no longer use Drills. Prior to adding it mid-save he was working all the drills, but has since stopped. No error log comes up, he just refuses to drill now.

@[BUYA] Till Eulenspiegel I met this problem too, Complex jobs conflict with this mod, deleted complex jobs and tunnelers started mining

yeah it makes tunnelers an easy S tier now. They're good melee tanks either way with their smokepops and shields, as well as caravan carrier mechs

Great mod and tbh i don't think it is overpowered cause heck there is no use for tunnelers anyways. When you get them usually you are that late in the game that they make no sense anymore cause you stripped the whole map already, so having them being actually able to harvest from drills is a really gamechanger for solo mechanitor playthroughs.

hi thank you for your reply! i just found the problem, my zone allocation is wrong, i did not set the part with the drill as a zone, thats why the tunneler didnt drill

hi why wont my tunneler use the drill, should it automatically go to it after i install the mod?
