Kimo' Jul 14 @ 11:56am
Any chance for a 1.6 version?
月羽狐 Jul 8, 2024 @ 4:23am
good job, bro, these 2 genes are really interesting to play with. Especially when you consider those ambrosia farming mods and Luciferium farming mods
Andy  [author] Apr 21, 2024 @ 2:44am
BlackFranky, thanks, should be fixed
BlackFranky Apr 20, 2024 @ 11:07pm
With the newest version i get the hediff "Luciferium dependency (deficiency)" with the Luciferium immunity gene.
Гений Apr 15, 2024 @ 8:29am
Thanks a lot!

Updated:
- 1.5 updated
-Compatible with Ushankas Luciferium Expansion
-Increased gene frequency, rebalanced cost and metabolic efficiency
-Luciferium need gene is now activated at age 13
Гений Apr 15, 2024 @ 5:17am
Hi mate, thanks for the mod. Could you please add 1.5 to About when you have time for it?
UtterlyFlabbergasted Jan 20, 2024 @ 1:54pm
So the luciferium immune gene, does it actually give full immunity without any need for it or is the wording in the genes description correct?
RealDeathClawProductions Oct 13, 2023 @ 4:29am
Alright thanks for answering my question!
Andy  [author] Oct 13, 2023 @ 3:35am
RealDeathClawProductions, Probably yes, after the release of Faction Expanded Tribal, these mods already work fine together, I just wanted to add drug resistance to these genes from luci expansion
RealDeathClawProductions Oct 12, 2023 @ 2:01am
Out of curiosity since it seems to have been a while, are you still planning to update this mod for the compatibility with the Luciferium Expansion mod?
Andy  [author] Feb 17, 2023 @ 12:53pm
♥♥♥♥, misprint, I'll fix this misunderstanding when I have time
TeleportBehindYou Feb 17, 2023 @ 9:29am
what the frik is Lycuferium
Andy  [author] Feb 7, 2023 @ 3:48am
Updated, to no longer require VEF, but without it effects may not be removed on gene loss.
Andy  [author] Feb 7, 2023 @ 3:22am
Updated, completely redone the mod, changed effects and cost of genes, added compatibility with VRE Hussar, updated textures, now depends on Vanilla Expanded Framework
SaltyRocksPew Feb 1, 2023 @ 6:58pm
If Luci Immunity lets you take Luci without any side effects it should be extremely expensive metabolism wise.
Andy  [author] Nov 27, 2022 @ 11:04am
Lokki, i think yes, due to changes in vanilla dependency i will redo the mod later, changing the cost of genes and adding compatibility with VE, with changing the texture of immunity and disabling the duplicate gene
Andy  [author] Nov 27, 2022 @ 11:01am
{Sweg} Xenon2462, no, she will get an infinite luciferium buff due to the way vanilla works
Lokki Nov 26, 2022 @ 7:26am
Luciferium dependency was added as a archite gene by the new races expanded hussars mod. Is it safe to use cherry picker to remove this mods luci depencency?
Xenon2462 Nov 26, 2022 @ 6:52am
if a pawn had the lucifarium immunity and took lucifarium, will it still kill them?
Andy  [author] Nov 14, 2022 @ 10:00am
It reduces addiction chance from 100% to 50%:steamhappy:
Xenon2462 Nov 14, 2022 @ 9:53am
reguarding the lucifarium resistance, does it prevent the drug from killing you?
Alt Nov 6, 2022 @ 5:47am
Honestly, I think 60 days before you die is ok. You can think of this as your pawn was specifically gene engineered with luciferium nanites(mechanites) in mind and because of that you have greater window for opportunity to get more luci. +8 metabolic efficiency would be too much i think, even +6 is a lot, considering you get 30 days before coma.
selest19 Nov 2, 2022 @ 3:24am
ahh okay
Andy  [author] Nov 1, 2022 @ 1:09pm
because the game automatically creates those genes, this mod just lets it do that for those two drugs and gives the textures
selest19 Nov 1, 2022 @ 12:16pm
okay why is immunity A. only -5 ME B. not archotech
CTH2004 Nov 1, 2022 @ 11:17am
okay, hwo exactly does "addict-resist" work in this scenario?

and, a part of me thinks that, since Luciferium is so powerful, the immune one should be archite
Cars_Ten Nov 1, 2022 @ 5:02am
It seems to be working now, i have no idea what the issue was.
Lennybolt7 Nov 1, 2022 @ 4:04am
Now just need to find a way to get luciferium dependency on all hussars
Lokki Oct 30, 2022 @ 10:27am
@Cars_Ten its not this mod, it is a compatability issue with something else
Andy  [author] Oct 30, 2022 @ 10:18am
@Cars_Ten, Are you sure it's because of this mod? I have 400 mods and everything works fine.
Cars_Ten Oct 30, 2022 @ 10:05am
whenever I select a xenotype with any trait from the mod my game freezes.
TOCTEP Oct 29, 2022 @ 2:32pm
ОСУЖДАЮ!
Andy  [author] Oct 29, 2022 @ 4:51am
If you want the original permanent Lucierium addiction, you can set it as a health condition in the scenario settings.
Andy  [author] Oct 29, 2022 @ 4:46am
Also, the addiction-resist gene reduces the chance of Lucierium addiction from 100% to 50%
Andy  [author] Oct 29, 2022 @ 4:41am
The game overwrites all my patches and self-created genes, it looks like you can change their cost only with C#, but you can use https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2878925256&searchtext=metabol to adjust the final metabolism for yourself
Holgast Oct 28, 2022 @ 6:01pm
yessss I was looking for addict resistant genes
Andy  [author] Oct 28, 2022 @ 1:58pm
@Lokki, I'm not sure, the game automatically creates the genes if drug addiction allows it, this mod just patches one line in the vanilla game and adds textures, but it might be possible to manually create the gene and set its price, I'll check that later when I have time.
Lokki Oct 28, 2022 @ 1:48pm
@Andy may i suggest making luciferium dependency +8 due to its rarity compared to others?
Scarf Dragon Oct 28, 2022 @ 11:16am
Luciferium dependency. Holy hell.

If it weren't for a certain brilliant mod that adds difficult but possible Luciferium production, using that gene would likely be a disaster.

It probably still will be a disaster. I'm going to sentence my poor xenohumans to a slow death.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity.
Andy  [author] Oct 28, 2022 @ 10:53am
It is a pity that dependency also gives immunity, which does not allow you to die from Luciferium before 1 year.
se05239 Oct 28, 2022 @ 10:49am
Still though, thanks for giving us the choice.
Andy  [author] Oct 28, 2022 @ 10:48am
@se05239, You can always buy them, or get them with mods like SOS2, but yes, your colony will be in ♥♥♥♥ for a long time to come.
se05239 Oct 28, 2022 @ 10:44am
Talk about being doomed from the start, as there's no easy way to get either Ambrosia or Luciferium.
