I think the factions are causing me world gen issues with a new mod list, would be nice to get a version with out the factions, but understandable if you don't feel like it or just don't want to. Cool genes either way

Suggestion for a Spider based Genes and Race whose special features could be Venom Bite or Sting. I am not sure how it would work with the games code, but an interesting lore thing for them could be that they are Humanoid Spiders that were genetically created to produce Devilstrand or Synthread as Silk instead of regular Spider's silk.

Chitinous is allowing hair to spawn on pawns for some reason. If this is intended could it be made so the hairless gene does not conflict?

Despite Feelers being entirely beneficial, they actually have a +1 in metabolic efficiency like negative genes tend to have. I figured this was a bug and wanted to mention it.

Not to quibble too much... but insectoid eyes in general are fairly inferior to human eyesight - with the best evolutionary examples of compound eyes still coming just below baseline human visual acuity (Dragonflies). You could argue that they'd instead provide some kind of dodge bonus since many compound eye setups offer nearly 360 vision and they're very specialized in tracking motion in particular... but poor in tracking detail (especially at longer distances, bad for ranged accuracy). It just strikes me as odd that one of the things that is almost universally true among insects is their poor eyesight but excellent vibration sense ('hearing' effectively) with few notable exceptions like Dragonflies.

IMO Feelers should "cost" more.
In vanilla Elongated fingers are only +10 manipulation yet they "cost" the same

Antennas are a form of sensory organ - maybe they should add a bonus to hearing (which, iirc, boosts melee dodge) or perhaps like many eusocial insects they double as a social organ, where part of communication relies on the movement of or contact with the antennas as well as reading of pheromones.

On the subject of pheromones, perhaps antennas will serve as a "pheromone awareness" boost, making them easier to be convinced by those with pheromone glands. Not sure exactly how that would be scripted, but it would certainly be a unique mechanic that I'm not sure any other insectoid pawn mod has ever implemented.

Ok problem its becase Your races have new psi talent. And vse have problem with it. All oder races used only gens works fine with VSE

Hi. I think its conflict with Vanilla skill expanded.
When i use Yout mod and VSE o cannot generate world with all faction, and i cannot generate any pawn in new game.

After adding your mod, I have trouble generating a new world. There are no factions in the world, no pieces are generated after the game starts.

could you add a gene that makes insectoids not attack your pawns on sight
colony pheromone or something? been using the expanded ideologys and its not awesome worshiping an animal that keeps attacking my colony
