@Morloc The dresser is basically a large shelf. It has a maxItemsInCell limit of 300, which can be changed by editing the XML file or using RIMMSqol. Building a second dresser should theoretically allow clothes to be automatically stored in it as well.

As for the “Dress From” option. sorry, I forgot to implement it during the upgrade. I’ll bring it back when I have time.

The dresser seems to have a maximum holding capacity, which would be great, but building a 2nd dresser doesn't seem to increase storage.

If you feel that it's likely you weren't using or don't need the full features of this mod - the mirror was by far the lesser part of this mod (nice but not core), the most significant being the outfit assignment, auto equip on drafting, mending attachments, storage that is (still?) automatically recognised on trade interactions and more. There's no great need for this mod which has a purpose of its own to do something another does well, so if pawn editing is all you needed the mod for maybe check Character Editor out.

I'm sorry I just don't understand how 1.6 changed with storage, at least for me when I started new save it seems clothes are stored inside just like before. Or is it just code change that isn't obvious?

Is there any chance of re-adding the apparel layer colour assignment feature? I don't know any other mod that makes the colour choices persist between outfits, so you have to re-dye manually everytime and it's a massive pain. I don't believe Character Editor lets you set permanent colours, only for what the pawn is currently wearing.

This mod is completly incompatibile with Grimworld 40k and MIM 40k apparel. All of the apparel gets randomly deleted from change dresser when pawns store it in it. I've got some power helmets stored perfectly fine just for them to dissapear after one of the raids.

Will be updated in a few days. I'm using this update as an opportunity to implement a more universal method for storing apparel to avoid bugs.

Too many bugs.When lock the human's dress,the clothes will copy when they are going to change dress.And this mod is incompatible with the Grimworld 40000+ mod's armor,the dresser will delete the armor when human storage this armor to the dresser

Some pawns (not all) loose their armor when sent outside colony. Get it back when return.

Hi! I got a bug here, every time I choose a pawn there'll be an error and my pawn just lost all his clothes, and here's the debug log, hope that will help your developing.

Mouse position stack is not empty. There were more calls to BeginScrollView than EndScrollView. Fixing.

Got an error, I copied down the full error but can't paste it all here: Type ChangeDresser.UI.PawnColumnWorker_AssignOutfit probably needs a StaticConstructorOnStartup attribute, because it has a field static UnityEngine.Texture2D ChangeDresser.UI.PawnColumnWorker_AssignOutfit::SortingIcon of type UnityEngine.Texture2D. All assets must be loaded in the main thread.

I fixed this bug in version 1.4 but sadly I lost that version of the source code. The mod character editor has the same function and is more powerful.

Curious bug I came across. If you change a pawn's skincolour, it will reset back to default every time you open the save again.

Got an interesting duplication bug; Steam search is horrid so apologies if this was posted already.

To reproduce:

Draft pawn, move them near the Dresser, strip so it dumps all clothing items in the Dresser. (Mine had a flak vest and nothing else.)
Assign a pawn a piece of clothing in a Dresser outfit, as a Custom Outfit. (I used the flak vest, in a Custom Outfit named, simply, Flak.)
Undraft the pawn. They are now wearing the flak vest. The vest is not in the Dresser.
Draft them, strip, undraft. They will now be wearing the flak vest again, but the same vest will also be in the Dresser.

I found an odd workaround, but it makes sense if pawns must always have an outfit on, if one is created for them at all.

The workaround is simply to create an outfit with nothing in it, called Nude. Drafting, undrafting, swapping outfits, all seem to work then as intended, with no item duplication.

Makes my pawn drop shield from Polaris. Had to remove it. Also mending feature is OP af. Perhaps make it harder to obtain or turned off by default?

When I deconstructed dresser it stop dropping the shield.

Not all negative thought, used to use it a long time and was and still is cool mod. If it only did not drop my shields after every draft of my colonists tho. Kinda game breaking midfight.

Still thank you for all the work you are doing for us!

The mod keeps overriding the colors I chose in character-editor mod for my pawns main outfit every time I draft and undraft the pawn. I don't like using the dresser to choose colors because it forces the pants and shirt to share the same color scheme and I use mods that show visible pants. even if I save the color scheme in the dresser it will default back to the previous scheme prior to altering it in character-editor. I don't know if this a bug or a feature.

@キリトのセフレ Hi! Found the problem. It seems everything is working normal. But it gives the impression of items getting deleted as no items appear on the 'content' button on the botton left screen. But if I click 'manage apparel' I can see everything there, and when I click empty, everything drops on the floor. Seems only a visual bug, but everything works.

Been using this mod throughout the years, but this version now deletes the items that get stored on the dresser. Everything else seems to be working normally.

Heya, thanks for the mod! I've got a small bug report - when I go to Assign Outfits -> Manage Outfits, I can't scroll. It only shows the items in the list of possible clothing that populates in the initial frame, so you can only see the first few items (starting with A). I can enter the name "parka" in the search bar and it shows up and lets me select just fine, but I can't scroll down to it in the list.

Is there any way at all to determine which dressers my colonists use? I have 2 colonies with a dresser each, but people at colony A all teleport their clothes to colony B's dresser when they change, and will only equip items from colony A, leading them all to inevitably stash all their clothes somewhere they can't reach.

Does anyone else have the issue where whenever I draft my pawns out on the world map, they won't switch to their marine or cataphract armor? They will just change to flak armor. Whereas when I draft them on my home map, they will draft to the best armor available as expected.

@Draykoth @ReaperXGen @sleepy @Caar Thank you, the problem has been fixed. Sometimes the position of an apparel is missing, so the game checking whether it is in an allowed area throws an exception. "Empty" and "Collect" work because they refresh the position of the apparel.

For the people with pawns that suddenly refuse to dress; I've found that going to your dresser, clicking "Empty" to drop everything, then "Collect" to pick it back up will make your pawns accept clothes again

I sent pawns to raid a faction base (fregate from VFE-Mechanoids, if it matters), after returning to base pawns refused to wear their non-drafted outfits: they would just go around naked and sad from it. Also, when trying to undraft a group of pawns, only one of them undrafts (didn't happen before raid). This log I got after restarting a game and trying to undraft a pawn. Subsequent drafts/undrafts (both singular and collective) didn't raise an error

Thank you for an awesome mod. I use it mostly to have a set of work gear, and a set of battle gear, and quickly switch on draft / undraft

What i would suggest is just a single change, for the mod to return (after undrafting) the forced apparel, irrelevant of the Assign outfit restrictions. If some item is forced, there is usually a good reason, so would be great for it to return.

As it is, a piece of clothing will return after undrafting only if it is covered by the outfit policy set in the change dresser as the civillian policy (not the battle one)
