Yeah random nations across the world taking random states and countries in Europe is pretty awful. Oldenburg is #1 american target for instance

The reason I ask is because I would like to se the major powers unified more often, and from the description of your mod here, I don't think it touches this aspect?

@Valen This has been fixed now.
The private investment construction slots cap has been removed also.
@TurtleShroom This does not appear to be a common crash, I played to 1900 and many others.

I reckon you need to fix the AI colonisation and aggression logic. In my current game, the UK randomly tries to make the Papal State a protectorate, and it becomes a world war. France also invaded Oldenburg for no reason when they still have a lot of work to do in North Africa and Asia

Nothing supports changing the centralization law group- so if you start as decentralized, you're stuck decentralized the entire game. If you highly liberalize, you have negative authority permanently

Private sector was only constructing up to 5 buildings at the same time even if I have more than enough construction playing with Russia. I had around 1.3 k construction capacity with laissez faire economy law. It just does not make sense.

VFM can now run with Hail Columbia again, make sure you use the game rule in hail columbia to consolidate more tags, there is a hard limit of 419 tags beyond that the game grinds to a halt in 1.9. If the lag starts again you will have to annex additional tags.

Sadly the mod will not be able to work together with hail Columbia on the new 1.9 patch, they have added a limit to how many countries can exist so the game will lag to a halt t. It jumps way beyond with all those extra north american decentralized... I wasted many hours trying to make this work. So sorry.

I have a bug with this mod (only mod activated): all cities in balkans and anatolia dont show their names. Instead it say HUB_NAME_STATE...

this mod has been plagued with instability issues since its inception and after nearly 3 years the only country that actually feels fleshed out is persia, you're better off with the victorian century mod for great power flavor, gates of the bosporus/the three brothers/hail columbia for regional flavor or morgenroete for overall flavor

So yeah, this mod just crashes when you load the map. Already tried the whole hail columbia compatch thing and it just doesnt work. Real shame. The mod creator claims the changes to the map were crashing the game so he removed, for what? For the game to still crash anyways? I can't be thankful enough to whover created and updated this mod for free. But clearly, it has become unplayable for many many reasons.

This mod is not updated correctly, completely screws pop acceptance cultures so you can never accept any pop aside from the primary, do not play.
