That's great to know - appreciative nevertheless of both the mod, and the consideration to check back and ensure it's tagged for piece of mind with the updates! Hope you get a chance to enjoy the newest update if Rimworld is still on your radar of fun games to play :steamhappy:

@XDelphi Happy to! This mod is simple enough that it's very unlikely it requires any changes on updates beyond adding a new version number to the config.

Thanks for updating!
hello

@MangoCobra Correct, though technically they may take slightly longer. It's possible Rimworld delays pregnancy progression when hungry/malnourished or something.

So I just want to confirm - Each trimester is one quadrum, right, so the pregnancies will take 9 months?

@BlueLeafy Enable Development Mode, then in the pawn health window there'll be an option to show all the hediff (health status, including things like pregnancy) information when you mouse over them (as well as an option to show hidden hediffs).
BlueLeafy Oct 18, 2024 @ 12:44pm
How did you get the time left on the pregnancy in the screenshot?
Pershonkey  [author] Apr 16, 2024 @ 9:43pm
Seems like it works fine as is, marking as compatible with 1.5.

Please update! :)

@licoriceandmint I'm guessing it'll still work with no changes, but I haven't tested it on the beta branch yet. If it doesn't seem to work, let me know and I'll try to get around to updating it soon.

@Zorg That makes sense; how would you want that to scale given the vanilla pregnancy duration is more like 300% faster rather than 400%? I probably won't update the mod to do that since just hard setting it to 45 days is easy and this is mostly just a personal quick fix I thought others might use.

@v1sh4 I probably won't get around to that, but it would be interesting to see one made that doesn't make animal husbandry meaningfully worse mechanically.
licoriceandmint Apr 4, 2024 @ 9:11am
will this be updated for 1.5?
Zorg Jan 16, 2024 @ 3:56pm
Would it be possible to instead make it scale with the "Child aging rate" storyteller setting? I'm happy to use it as-is (because I run this setting at 100% anyway (default 400%)), but it would be nice to have the option to tinker with it in this manner.

can we have a mod for animals too?

Thank you very much, OP! This helps! Also, I'd like to announce the good news that the slave incident was a one time fluke. Great mod!

Updated the English version of the popup. I'll look at the other languages (or ideally change the popup severity, which I can't easily do on this computer) later.

To check the remaining duration, enable dev mode, then go to the health tab of a pawn. In the top right corner, click on "Dev Tool..." and enable "Hediff debug tooltips". You should then be able to hover over the pregnancy health condition and see the severity, percentage, and remaining time like in the picture for this mod.

Excuse me, I'd like to report a bug (and request some know how). My slave received the 6-day-baby-prep message, but even after a quadrum I ended up using Dev Mode to induce labor. I'd also like to know how to check how much time is left in a pregnancy.

Thank you! I waited for such mod ;)
LoboOscuro Oct 30, 2022 @ 4:19am
for some reason they added the ability to change child age speed but only if you play on a custom story mode...but no option for pregnancy speed -_- so thankyou

Thank you for this first baby in the colony and you realize this is needed.
Hyomoto Oct 27, 2022 @ 4:06pm
Huh. I thought this was already an option, but I guess not.
