I wonder what it could entail,,, FTL hacking drone... new trigger tech might allow remote disabling of any component but that might be a bad idea because would add a new component to base_part and might lag everything by a small amount

SpawnChance = 17/18 means one every 18 systems would not spawn anything
MinNodeTier = 4 means the system needs to be at least difficulty/tier 4 to spawn
you can mess with the other SpawnChance(s) and set them to 1 instead
you can increase count of them by adding numbers to count
I tried to modify hyperoids spawn and i have 100 % chance of it , but ... due to the rest of the mods :D i only have a few aftermath systems , like 10 of 300 , thats ways to less. :D
I cant find the system restriction , i´m crying :D
If you like to make it more common in some way , it would be super nice.

You could implement something that expands upon your "drone" concept
Rather than the ultimate weapon, you could create the ultimate support
i like the idea of big dumb cannon like that though so maybe i'll do something

actually, any armor that's not updated would die at the same time under heat status... i wish it applied specific damage instead of percentage damage but oh well you have to manually increase damage resistances for them

I guess the Vanilla Mining Laser is too strong to be overtaken, hehe

Yeah i have a few scraps of a WIP boss mod but never finished...
i see someone has beat you to it and has made a boss mod- but its not balanced
maybe i can rely on you to make a more balanced boss mod?

Did you ever get the Mining Prism Turret working?
I remember it having a blurb on the description where it had to be manually targeted before firing
Did you or someone know witch Mod prevents Hyperdroids from being spawned correctly ? I can not belive it is Techtree mod by SC (and of course some of the Mega and Giga Asteroid mods) , cause that should have been noticed someone before. Ideas ?

updating parts as they come down, i fixed reactor and mining prism, tiny control room, all cruiser weapons, i added overclocks to the 2 normal factories.
Gonna tackle inserters next, wish me luck!

Yeah inserter only standalone is planned but probably not soon
and the mining beam prisms when they're properly built
