Unfortunate. in that case it's that mod that has non-standard internally named storage names i believe, and so the inserters don't see it.

I was referring to the normal factories, 4x4 steel, diamond, etc. None of them work, unfortunately, I had to replace them all with vanilla factories.

They should work by default with every factory as long as they have the correct names.
exeptions are of course, the missiles, if that's what you're saying i can easily fix it!

Oh I was more or less thinking you target a thing, and it launches a sticky probe that would disable either crew slots or power delivery. That way you need a progressively larger number of drones for higher tier things, and could be further broken out into small and large if needed. This does require, I think, the drone to somehow exist as a "repair to remove", but normal HP could work 🤷‍♂️

I don't think i'll add a hacking drone, buuut
I wonder what it could entail,,, FTL hacking drone... new trigger tech might allow remote disabling of any component but that might be a bad idea because would add a new component to base_part and might lag everything by a small amount
Alternatively it could deal a variety of existing effects i unno

Is there any shot the new Thermal Canisters can be added to the resource inserters? Sorry if this was mentioned already, might be blind. Also +1 for the bigger drone plans 👀 maybe one thats FTL-Hacking Drone like

You can find the spawn rules in this path:
(Mod path aka 2880017812)/Hyperoid/Hyperoid_sysgen.rules

SpawnChance = 17/18 means one every 18 systems would not spawn anything
MinNodeTier = 4 means the system needs to be at least difficulty/tier 4 to spawn
you can mess with the other SpawnChance(s) and set them to 1 instead
you can increase count of them by adding numbers to count

I tried to modify hyperoids spawn and i have 100 % chance of it , but ... due to the rest of the mods :D i only have a few aftermath systems , like 10 of 300 , thats ways to less. :D
I cant find the system restriction , i´m crying :D
If you like to make it more common in some way , it would be super nice.

I do feel the drones are kinda irrelevant when you get to lvl 14+ maybe a nuke drone or bigger ones with more weaponry would make it better. Or instead of offensive go defensive and have repair drones that go out and repair during battle. All ideas of course.

I too like the idea of big gun but not when it freezes my game for 10 seconds while it deletes whatever it hit take the fun out of watching the ship get torn in two and replaces it with "is my game gonna crash"

I love the BFG however it's a bit big(I get that that's the point). I was hoping if you'd add a smaller weaker variant that was better made for ships. As an example, the F-SpAr cannon from COD infinite warfare I love and have been wanting something like it ever since I started playing with mods.

the fusion reactor is already integrated with the heat system

I could update my station armor to have a lot more thermal resistance
actually, any armor that's not updated would die at the same time under heat status... i wish it applied specific damage instead of percentage damage but oh well you have to manually increase damage resistances for them

im really wondering if this could be done with it also having a fair price both cash and material wise as it would be an end game block set but i wish we coudl have flame resistant armor that is slightly heavier but also uses quite alot of material hence it being end game since i want armor like this for fighting io ships

Hyperoids have some spawn conditions required to spawn, such as being in a supernova aftermath system, and they can be rare to spawn...

Did you or someone know witch Mod prevents Hyperdroids from being spawned correctly ? I can not belive it is Techtree mod by SC (and of course some of the Mega and Giga Asteroid mods) , cause that should have been noticed someone before. Ideas ?

I dont have anything test-worthy!!! Its all being produced well
updating parts as they come down, i fixed reactor and mining prism, tiny control room, all cruiser weapons, i added overclocks to the 2 normal factories.
Gonna tackle inserters next, wish me luck!

Reactor and mining prisms are broken and will crash on placement, i'm working on fixing bugs and adding scorched effects to damaged parts

I have the same issue with the reactor the moment I click on it in the build screen
and the mining beam prisms when they're properly built
main thing being
System.InvalidOperationException: No component named 'IsEmitting' in part 'janiTNT.Mining_beam_prism'.
