Improved/Unnerfed Fjordhawk

Currently trying to setup a cluster with a Fjordur server and other maps. I have this mod installed and it works fine when starting the Fjordur server. But when I try to start other servers, this mod is causing a segmentation fault during the installation phase (I am using AutoManagedMods with ModInstaller from Game.ini). It seems the mod cannot be installed on server instances running other maps. Is there any known work around for this that would allow modded hawks to function on other maps in the same cluster?

it was an issue with eternal and primal fear the auto pickup the cabinets had were pulling things from the bag when the hawk would drop it near me and then those items were poofing im talking to eternal in their discord about that part of it now

I apologize i discovered it was an interaction between 2 different mods and it just happened to be timed with when i first got the hawk lol i spoke too soon my bad

@djphllps Are you sure the Hawks you're using is the modded one provided from this mod? There hasn't been any issues that I've seen so far.

Not sure exactly how this is happening but once i started dying and using the fjordhawk i stopped getting all of my things back after death before i had the fjordhawk and was just using awesome teleporter to retrieve corpse i had no issue

Really? I thought they were just set to no combat - they never attack anything else. I tried several ways to try and nothing worked so I just assumed that is how they were designed. I wonder if one of my mods is messing something up... Thanks.

could you do an "improved sinomacrops" or "improved desmodus" mod? like for sinomacrops allow its speed stat affect the speed it flies when carrying a player, and for the desmodus, allow it to glide like the griffin

@Frim if you see the timer (visually) this may still happen but will not affect when you die before the timer runs out, your items will still be picked up by the hawk.

hey i spawned in with commend that was suggested. but i still recieved a timer. can it be that i had a timer beforehand and need to wait for the timer to run out. And after that there will be no timer?

@Childsplay.pac Unfortunately i have given up on the idea of making a ferox mod, alot of time and effort is needed to make a modded one due to the way the transformation mechanics work that makes it very complex for the average modder, this is also why no ferox mods really exist besides those that use buffs or simply removed the ability to transform between the small and large form, if i did put enough time and dedication to it i could most likely make it work but i don't feel that it's worth the effort when not many changes will really be made to it.

Is it possible for you to make a "Better Ferox Breeding" type mod that would allow the player the change the speed of the females addiction cooldown meter in it's small form?

@Tasha (Fog) Did you do a dino wipe? chances are the one you tamed was still the regular Fjordhawk if you hadn't done that yet.

@Shynygati So will you add a teleport attack to the AI of the tamed shadowmane and the ini parameters for the configuration of the shock that it imposes? I wrote to you on the page of your improved shadowmane mod, but I didn't get a response. It's just that almost a week has passed, and there has been no update. I just can't make sure that you haven't forgotten about it.

@jognbonjovie66 It really depends on how the nerfs were handled if those suggestions can even be done, so most of my mods are buff based and because of that there are limitations such as adding new attacks and changing cooldowns, while new attacks can be added they will only work if they replace an already existing one otherwise i would have to create a modded version of the creatures, the ravager bleed attack and tamed shadowmane teleport attack can potentially be added as that's probably just a tick that skips tamed creatures from using it, i also don't exactly have alot of time to work on my mods these days but i appreciate your feedback and suggestions but in the future please go to the creature's mod page and mention it for those specific creatures there otherwise the replies will just get bloated from unrelated questions/feedback.

@Shinygati Looking at your work, you are very very good at removing nerfs created by wild cards. Therefore, I offer you a couple of ideas on a similar topic. 1 Improved ravager, you can add the tamed ability to apply the bleeding effect (like wild ones), and some general improvements. 2 Small additions to the improvements you already have, 1 you can add a teleport attack to the AI of tamed shadowmanes and also add the option to disable their shock cooldown. 2 Voidwyrm. You can return the ability to enable special attacks by tamed AI, as well as add the ability to change the cooldown of the shock that they impose.
