I’m not sure if I missing something or what but in the mod options the only thing present is the affect animal check box. I can’t adjust children growth rate

Vanilla Rimworld scales growth point gain with your aging speed, so the total number of levels you gain is the same. This mod doesn't seem to do that, so with age multiplier over the vanilla maximum your children can't get enough learning to hit good growth moments even at maximum learning.

Since this mod increase aging rate I'd imagine you would want a mod that increases children leaning rates since they have less time to fill their learning need and build skills yes?

Okay, although there are no MOD options left, you can directly modify the growth rate in the storyteller's options. The original version only had 6, but with MOD added, it can be increased to 100:steamthumbsup:

Could you make it also affect the Biosculpter Pod's Age Reversal amount? Currently it is always one flat year, I believe.

The aging rate of embryos(and children) in growth vat is determined by 'Growth Vat Occupant Speed', which can be adjusted from scenario editing.
Since 1.5 month have passed, you might have found the solution but I'd just leave this comment for people who might have the same issue.

So, this might be a bug, I'm not seeing the aging rate of Embryos in the growth vat, change. It still takes 9 days (default:400%), I have my aging for children set to 80x. Anyone else having this problem?

With the new Rimworld update this mod is now throwing an error. I think its probably due to them adding new settings in the storyteller menu.

I dont see the option to lower age (despite having biotech to 60x, it looks normal only 100x +) i don't have age changing mods, i also looked in more mods settings, mods options and placed it higher in my mods list without any changes :(

I've been having an issue long term with other factions where everyone in other factions is living to like over 200 years if that amount of time passes with this mod. So its like 4 years in game, but with this mod it's 200 years. Is there a way to add a death age or an age limit for pawns in other factions or is that just a lost cause?

@Tae A year in rimworld is 60 days, so if you wanted a day to age a pawn by a year it would be 60x

What is the multiplier I would need to get a pawns aging year to be about 1 day in game? or maybe 2 if that's not really possible. If anyone knows please let me know!

That is 100% a vanilla thing.

Chronological is based on the seasons passing in normal game play. 4 seasons = 1 year nothing can change this.

Biological age is based on how old your character physically is.

The physical age can be changed based on aging multipliers like this mod and vanilla have, the ageless gene and the pawn being cryofrozen either before the pawn walks on screen or during your own game play.

The only way for both ages to stay the same is to keep the aging multiplier at 1x, stay away from the ageless gene and make sure they aren't ever in cryo.

Don't know if it's a vanilla issue or not but chronological age desyncs from biological no matter what after enough time. Any way to fix that for use with mods like altered carbon which tracks chronological age instead of biological with stacks?

@Afropenguinn The Children School and Learning mod lets you adjust pregnancy duration and has been updated for 1.4/Biotech, thoroughly recommend :)

I'm so excited to use this mod, I used to use Faster Aging but it's no longer being updated since Biotech, understandable. So hopefully this lets me go back to playing generational playthroughs again!! :D

Does this also ensure that a child's learning rate scales with aging rates past the base game's 10x limit? It's hard to tell if my 15x children are learning at a 15x rate or a 10x rate.

Wow, exactly what I was looking for, thanks! Hoping to do a generational playthrough. Though I wish that biosculptor pods and pregnancy duration scaled with the adult aging rate.

@baderalkhabbaz02 The settings can be changed in the custom story teller settings. The option is part of base 1.4, I just increased the maximum.
