got confused when i saw the new mod show up and thought we're dealing with stolen content.
glad to see that isnt the case. you migth wanna put a disclaimer into the new one that that ones basically a reboot to avoid confusion

UPDATE 1.6

I will publish a new mod called "Ashcat Xenotype"
it will be like this one but better and more refined.

a fast xenotype with great potential.

its more like narai 2.0

i sometimes seen very few in various events. like wanderer join. or as slave in a trader.
ther eis no dedicated faction. so they only spawn where the vanilla xenotypes would spawn too (if they dont belong to a faction)

I think you should add this to your HairDef, just a quality of life feature so that narai can render the hair by default on pawn creation rather than having to select it in the ideologin

Updated to 1.5 Anomaly

i still have to play the DLC myself to discover bugs in the visuals (most likely rotten stuff liek ghouls stuff)

but i fix it as soon i discover them. for now it works so far

I must agree, the simple execution of your mod, to make a "new race" with game gene mechanics is actually genius.

I recommend if you ever do create a more indepth mod that you still have this one.

its xml only. and the setup is the same like the vanilla ones.

As someone who has way too many factions thanks to VFE mods: Thank you for not having one in this.

Maybe it might be possible to edit the tribal factions from vanilla to include Narai.

jea know. i wanted noteable changes in speed. naked speed for instance: is 0.1 increase. if you let two pawns run paralel. ther eis no real difference.

if you put all genes togehter: jea you are nearly twice as fast. but you have to be naked too. otherwise you will be realy slow. and i think thats a good tradeoff.

but i think i wil nerv it a littlebit. so you are like 50% faster then normal instead of nearly 100

updated. ears now use haircolor instead of skin. they also are now clearer and have a thicker outline

The way vanilla handles it is through xenotypes, so a narai xenotype would have the narai tails/ears as cosmetic and the genes for bonuses seperate. I don't mind not separating the body parts and their effects but I hope you are making the metabolic efficiency reflect the actual benefits.
